Good filming! Nice location, my dog died age 17 years in 2019 , I have always had a dog! Then lockdown in 2020 I was so down and depressed 😔 my brother came around one morning (I live on my own) I said I have something for you? Went to his van in a cage a small puppy? I said oh no! I don’t want it! He said you will have to look after it for today I have to work? I said ok! He bought it in and put cage down in my front room! I ignored it for 1 hour it went asleep for 15 mins then woke up? Well the day turned into a week then a month later! Now he is 4 years old this Christmas Day! And my best mate 😂he is a bulldog cross fit as a flea and made as a hatter 😂 if you love and own animals them dying is hard ! But don’t let it put you off getting another one! You never replace Nancy but different dogs different things you love about them! So when you feel bit better! Get another one? A new puppy is a bringer of great joy and laughter 😂all the best xx

@@missnancysdayoff I loved it😁 You and a few other girls have helped me to do it. Thank you. You have such a beautiful beach near. My swimming is going well. Last Saturday I went to a crash site and then a waterfall at the bottom of the mountain. Lots of waterfalls there. I looked but couldn't find one deep enough. I thought I'll just have a waterfall shower then. It was going well, it was about 7pm, two people started watching me thinking what's he doing? I thought I'll go now, so moved away from the waterfall and slipped on my bum and fell in the river 😂 I looked soo cool🤦🏻😁 It looks quite funny though. I'll keep it in the video. I’ve done two shorts and they've done pretty good. All new to me. I was editing it as your vid popped up stopped.😁 I am the king of bad shorts and falling over. As usual wonderful scenes of the greatest coastline in the world- glad you got to swim, that looks enticing. You mentioned Mauritius, a place we went in 1988 and the Seychelles- we had done a month in St Lucia and Trinidad Tobago in May of 1988, but needed a real beach and coastline so came back and spent long weekend on Constantine Bay and Treyarnon Bay on the Northcoast.. Hand on heart- and in all honesty, stay in Cornwall, we have been to many countries, but nothing comes close to Cornwall. From Bedruthan steps all the way round to the spectacular kynance cove- is to be seen and enjoyed as much as possible . Look forward to more of your wonderful short films- time heals and Nancy will always be close to you, even when even when your on your sitting on the rocks of those glorious beaches ♥

We typically outlive them, but have loved them, enjoyed their company so much, maybe spoilt them a little...... This video randomly popped up in my feed. I'd never seen one of your videos, but I felt compelled to comment. I'm so sorry for your loss. My dog Kitty (yes, a dog named Kitty) almost 7 years ago and I still miss him every single day. So I understand how you feel. When I came back from the war in Iraq, he was the only one that I felt that I could safely talk to about my experiences. So I completely understand how you feel about your Miss Nancy. It is okay to mourn. It is okay to cry and it is okay to hurt. She was your family. But just like my buddy Kitty, I'm sure that Miss Nancy would not want you to just mire in misery forever. She would want you to also enjoy life, smile, laugh, and have fun. Continuing to do things that the two of you did together is another way of honoring her and her memory in your heart. It isn't disrespectful to her memory (I worried about that a lot after my buddy Kitty passed). It is okay to be sad sometimes remembering her. But it is also okay to continue on with life and to live your best life. Time eases the pain, but it never goes away completely. Best wishes to you.

Well done Tori, you showed such courage on this walk and you finally conquered your emotional and mental barrier to wild swimming again 💃🏻. As you mentioned in the video Miss Nancy would have wanted you to do it, she sat on the grass in spirit watching you I'm sure of that. You are definitely being very courageous far better than I was, you're not sitting around feeling sorry for yourself but getting out there and living! Something a little bit concerning was when you said about feeling that you don't really deserve to be happy. It's understandable, but thoughts like this can increase over time and lead to not very nice places. So please try to always think that you absolutely do deserve to be happy! You are a giver and bring happiness to others so why shouldn't you receive happiness in return. The feeling cold is definitely a stressed response. Our natural fight and flight system can go haywire when we experience such losses which can lead to a genuine feeling of coldness throughout the body due to the restriction of blood vessels and also can alter our perception of what is hot and cold as well. This will certainly ease with time. 🤗 BTW, Fortunately the subtitles worked on the sections of the video where the microphone wasn't up to too much.

Thank you ☺️ i hope she was there, looking at me like she always did wondering why I was so strange. Or just turning her head away and refusing to look at the spectacle. Ah believe me I also sit around and feel sorry for myself, it’s very up and down. I know that’s not a very healthy thing to think, it’s just hard not to sometimes, when I feel like it’s all my fault and I failed Miss Nancy. Even though intellectually I know that isn’t true the feelings are still there. Maybe it is just a terrible microphone, I thought it was only at the end it was bad was there loads?! 🫣

@@missnancysdayoff I've given homes to many pets who for reasons of disabilities, medical problems and age would find it hard to get a forever home. I knew with some we were living on borrowed time. But even though the time was short I still wanted to adopt them as they all deserved to live their remaining days in a safe home with plenty of love. But with each and every one of them I still felt I could of done more when they past. Even if the vet told me I did everything, I was at times crippled with guilt. Must be human nature. 🤔 I watch KZitem on the TV so perhaps the sound didn't come through as well as another device. For me sound dropped about half way through. Never a problem before. I'll check it on you next vid and let you know. 😊

You are doing splendid, and are venturing out into the natural beauty of the SW. It’s still fairly early days so don’t pressure yourself too much. It’s a massive loss for you, but always remember the fond times and the fact that you give her the best life. You will find another companion before long! After all you have a huge amount of love and adventure to give to another dog. Keep an open mind. It’s actually quite strange seeing you without a sidekick! x

By the way Miss Nancy is now on/in the five dimensional plane. She's always going to be with you. If she hasn't already left you a sign or signal in this dimension yet, don't worry it will come and it will leave you in no doubt about what I'm saying. Great milestone video Tori thanks for the guided tour. 😎🌞
