I have two favorite young women that I watch on youtube, Ally being one of them and Hannah Lee Duggan being another. Beautifully made videos that are so soothing to my almost 60 year old soul, I feel as if Im sitting down with a warm cup of tea and chatting with an old friend. But mostly, I am so very impressed by these lovely young ladies. I LOVE that they don't wait for a man to help them get things done. I love that they are not afraid to get dirty and use power tools. I also love that they get creative, and are willing to take chances as they learn new skills and create beautiful homes. I wish when I was that age that I was more in tune with life and doing things that mattered. Much different than my life at that age, caring about nothing more than going out to clubs and bars partying and having a good time and doing it all again every couple of days. I would love to have been more focused like Ally. Wonderfully inspiring and makes me feel like I am not too old to get off my tookus and create something wonderful in my life. Love from Northern Maine xo

There is so much I miss about wood heat and wood stoves. The chopping and stacking and the tending the stove at night. Independence. It is good that people see this. And growing vegetables. More people need to be in touch with the knowledge and the experience for those who can embrace the challenges. Confidence grows and so does self respect. 🪶

I am always amazed by the amount of hard work and sheer talent you put into everything you do❤️ I'm so happy to see that you still get to be at the cabin from time to time. I am eager to hear how things are going with the town council. I am praying things are going in Your and Kyle's favor. I just don't see how they can pull the crap they did and get away with it. Wishing you both the best, and a very blessed Holiday season!

This really was such a momentous year! I make KZitem videos in a similar spirit as you and it's really special to have so much footage to reflect back on to just give some context around how much we've done and how huge these times really were. I have to give you the most massive props for all the incredible work and construction you've done - seriously so inspiring - AND you were able to film it! Wow. After a year of living on the road I've decided to get settled for the winter and have been renovating my first 'tiny home' and it has been so intense and so rewarding - so I know and deeply respect how much work you put into what you do. You're so not alone when you said "everything takes so much longer than I think they do" - that has been my life the last few months. Sending love from my little corner of the world to yours 💙💙💙

I pray you remain protected and isolated from all harm in these magical woods. Sucks that the most peaceful activism for the earth and our human wellness living on her, has to be a target for the control system to come and disrupt and attempt to destroy. It's insane to know the regulators have no ethical or moral respect for property owners. How is you growing your own food in an off grid cabin hurting nature? The town? The people around you? Yourself? What's there to regulate then?

This year it was because of the chaos and no true free time with work and moving out of our old town and navigating the off grid cabin and then a-frame cabin simultaneously and just being young and inexperienced, we are learning tons this year and will be sure to get it right next season! :)
