I have this on vinyl from back when it was released. Of course I have almost all JJW’s albums on vinyl and many also on cd. To me, he was the best.

I grew up on JJW. Not a day goes by that I am not thankful to my Dad for waking us up to these albums on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Pure happiness!

Man do I love this record. Rough and Rowdy but it also has sweetness. I actually had a tear in my eyes thinking about all the friends I loved and lost over the years. Live your life like there’s no tomorrow was the rule of the land back then. Thanks for all the good times Scamp. We all had a ball.

Thank you Duane. This is one of my favorite albums by JJW. It got stolen out of my car a long time ago. JJW is one in a billion. Many, many thanks.

I’m not a big fan of country. But this album was influential to a 10yo me. I had a copy on cassette, and played it until it’s demise. Was sad to discover it had been deleted from JJW’s catalogue. Thank You. #RIPJJW

This is so very ALT country, way before such a thing existed.

It's the early 1980's, musical orchestration-wise, but it's still vintage JJW

Thank you so much for uploading this great album. One of my favorite JJW albums, I bought the only copy the record store had on the day it arrived. My 40 years plus collection of his stuff all got ripped of, so this is fucking GREAT! His album "Cowjazz" from a year later is another one Ive been looking for on here for years, and it's not to be found. Anyway, thanks again!

One of my favorite albums for its uniqueness, at the time many thought it was over orchestrated, but I think this show the variety that JJW could present the same music. Sort of like Cowboy Boots and Bathing Suits......

listen very close to the intro of Bittersweet. Now you know where Jon Anderson got the intro for Straight Tequila Night

I suspect this album is called REUNION because Gary and Robert and the GONZOS are back there (the vocals sound like the GONZOS), but... Anybody know?

The Gonzo's are not on this album. I own a copy of the album and the credits list studio musicians not any of the Gonzo's. I believe it was called REUNION because JJW was back on MCA Records.
