What fun Janet my Peter bought an old black sewing machine recently but we couldn't get it to work so it's going in the garage sale. It wasn'ta Singer. Your fabric mushrooms look great 👍 lovely Freddie must like the noise it makes 😀 while sleeping on your settee is that à Yorkshire term, it's what I call it. Night from Pam and Pusscat

Settee maybe a Yorkshire term because my Mum was half Yorkshire, term time spent in Lancashire and School holidays spent on a Yorkshire farm. That’s probably where she learnt to make Yorkshire puddings !! Shame about the machine. Have a lovely Thursday when you awake, love to little Pusscat. Any art class this week ?.

Hi lovely Janet🙋♀. I think your owl scrap fabric bag is very similar to Mary Poppins bag, it always seems to have a never ending supply of the most yummy fabric treasures🦉🦉. What wonderful textured mushrooms you have created🍄🧵. If I was fortunate enough to come across the giving tree, I am certain I would squeel with delight and awe🌲🥰🍄💚 . I am very impressed with Flo's stitched mushroom, what a creative little fairy 🧚🧵💖. I watched this whilst slow stitching some hearts, thank-you for sharing another inspiring process video. Much love to you and sweet Freddie..beautiful colors in the hyancinths🪴

Maria thank you so much so lovely to see you. The hyacinths planted in the autumn make the room smell so beautiful, they are so heavy today I need to find a little stick to hold them up. Yes the magic owl bag, I just wonder where all the scraps come from sometimes. 🦉 I didn’t realise Flo was so talented with a needle, then realised it’s not surprising she is constantly making new clothes for herself. 🧚♀️ Do hope you wake refreshed ready for a gentle day. 💚

Janet, it's no stress sewing. No need to turn the edges under because the raw edges are joined and stitched. Such pretty fabric...it all goes together like pretty patchwork. I agree, I think sewing is relaxing too. One of my first sewing experiences was sewing buttons on pretty pot holders when I would visit my grandmother. She taught me how to sew on buttons....brings back memories.
