@@shidiskas Yes, life is a precious gift from God. We are here in this existence God made especially for us. We are here to learn something in these terrestrial bodies that we will need to know for our celestial bodies we will have for eternity. When you place our life expectancy of 70 to 80 years up against eternity, it is obvious how miniscule this life span is. No matter what is happening here, it is happening for a reason and through faith in the Lord thy God through Jesus Christ, He will provide a way for us to prevail and/or withstand whatever happens. I know we are here to learn at least faith, faith in God whom we have never seen, no one should throw away this opportunity. "There has no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God IS faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will WITH the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it (1 Corinthians 10:13, KJV)."

I was there! In pain... Physically, mentally, and emotionally; every single day. I literally stopped feeling joy, rarely got out of bed, and just wanted the suffering to be done. One of the major hurdles that stopped me from ending everything was that I didn't have access to a guaranteed pain free way to do it that was fail proof. I remember constantly wishing that I could pay a surgeon to intentionally OD me on anesthesia gas. Well thank God I didn't meet someone like George or Susan!!! Today, I'm a very happy, healthy person that works full time. To anyone struggling; just because you're too low to imagine a way out, doesn't mean it's not possible. So please hang in there 💕

Good for you Anne, I mean that with all honesty. Some people however are absolutely not in a situation that is recoverable. Since man has not the wisdom of God we can only hope that our “diagnosis” is correct and an end is known. If that end is horrible end one should have a right to say goodbye. I am a stroke survivor with other serious issues. I have already said goodbye for this simple reason during the stroke I was paralyzed and not capable. Because the disease that caused the stroke is not curable, damaging my nerves ( vision and motor ), and blood veins my prognosis is clear. If this country allows abortion it is obligated to allow legal suicide. Legal suicide involves a persons input it has a much better “foot” to stand on.

@@jethrotull5847 Thanks for sharing. Sorry to hear things aren't that great. I guess I will clarify my post with pointing out that it was just my personal, unique experience. I definitely understand people that have major illnesses with no good treatment, prognosis, etc are in a VERY different position. For those situations, I am 100% in favor of "assisted su***de." Just like I put my dogs to rest to avoid unneeded suffering; humans should have that same privilege. I guess I'd just like it to be done in a more professional manner than this vid lol! Maybe have trained specialists involved and some protocols put in place (like asking patients to have 2 meetings with a physician and 2 sessions with a psychologist in order to get approved or something). Just some way to allow for people like you to have choice and dignity; while trying to avoid the regretful situations. Situations with people making impulsive decisions (because their boyfriend broke up with them yesterday) or people like me (that have hope, but just can't see it at the moment from their perspective). Anyhow, hope you're doing well! Take care. 💜

There was a point in my life where I was madly depressed. I sunk into a dark pit in my life and felt that suicide was the only thing that would end my pain. I was ready and took the decision that I would drown myself. One early morning I went through with it, it was a young man, feeding ducks, who barely spoke any English that jumped in and saved me. Till this day I don’t know what is name is but I thank him. It was a wake up call for me. After that, I sought help. I surrounded myself by nothing but positivity. I began to write, explore, learn to live and let live, learned to love and let love. I’m not saying that my life is perfect now, but it is definitely worth living. More people should handle death with humor and glad people are out of their misery. Does it mean we should go around murdering everyone? No but helping someone escape suffering when all else fails and prevents them dying or be found in more gruesome ways is doing people a service. Hi, no need feel ashamed. I doubt she wrote the true purpose of her visit on her arrival card, nor declared the poison she was carrying - probably well concealed. Her own prescribed medication would have been legal for her to carry across the border control point. Apart from being an American, she would have just as easily crossed through North Korea's border checkpoint. I suspect their borders are a heck of a lot tighter and stricter than NZ's 😉 With her claimed debilitating illness requiring so many special conditions, it is interesting she could endure a long haul flight with transit connections. Money is a great 'healer' for such troglodytes. I'll bet the poor individual she flew down to 'execute' had to pay her travel expenses, a dying swan like that would not have sat down the back either! She would have enjoyed her lie-flat seat and champagne at the pointy end! A pity the NZ Police don't make enquires with the producer. They might stand a better chance of extradition and charges considering it was a financial transaction, unlike the reverend's trip to Ireland at his own expense. One can only wonder?

@@AshDemonYoung The psychiatrist who interviewed shipman was of the opinion that George derived sexual satisfaction from his activities, based on the recording he made for Jon of him chanting over the phone to a woman who just died. It is also my opinion - George is clearly a narcissistic individual; people with his cast of character tend to be sexually deviant. Edit - watching it again i'd like to clarify - by 'sexual deviant' I mean he seeks psycho-sexual stimulation from a non-consensual source. In this case that source is people who have convinced themselves that suicide is the only way out of their position. I do think it is a tendency that is primarily sadistic, though I'm sure with George there is a lot of egotism involved. People who choose assisted death do not take it likely. They often do not want to die but feel there is no other choice. This is something of a last resort when all else fails.. when people have exhausted all alternatives. Because when this "help" you talk about fails, then what? There is a limit on how much we can help people and the fact is, some people cannot recover. We are all different and go through different things in life and therefore cannot imagine the pain some people go through. Be thankful you don't understand but don't judge it if you haven't been in the person's exacts shoes or think it can't happen to you. First of off I think I’m qualified to speak on this subject. I’ll keep it short snd too the point. I was diagnosed with inoperable stage4 throat cancer in 2016. Doctors said i had about 30 percent survival if I lived through the horrendous treatments & was under 0 stress. if I came under undo stress my chances were cut in half long story short during my intense 35 radiations and 7 day long chemos my wife left me. My first year of recovery was hard lots of pain and suffering without pain meds ect. Alone, I looked in the mirror at my burns, the pain and I encourages myself. No I’m my own abilities but where My life force and power come from “God” My doctor also kept encouraging me to keep on fighting and I did. During this period I never lost hope and I prayed daily to Jesus Christ simply asking to be delivered from the pain in this life or take me home & one day I woke up and my pain was very minimal and I’m still alive. I recently remarried a Wonder Woman. I firmly believe with all my heart Where you find life there is “Hope” Jesus Christ, crisis centers, friends family, exorcisms I could go on and on.

You're one of the lucky ones, praying may help you but the doctors helped more..I had cancer twice, and also went through horrendous radiation and chemo,I'm Jewish,so no Jesus for me,but I just went with it,and embraced it,and got stronger, and beat it..maybe its will, maybe its luck, but there are people who have been given a death sentence with diagnosis, and nothing can gelp them,..you and me survived, its a completely different thing, some poor people are in so much pain for so many years, they dont want to live anymore, and understandably so..G-d bless everyone, with good health..💕💕💕💕

He had very strong faith and told me that he didn't fear death but was well aware of all the people and things he'd be missing. He was loved by many and wrote his own epitaph which reads "It was a wonderful life". He also made sure his beloved dog was adopted by one of his most trusted friends. That was David to a tee. We attended college together and were from the same hometown but we were physically located very far apart over the last several years. I can't/won't remove his number from my phone. It comforts me just to see his name pop up on the screen. Sorry to run on so long but I miss him terribly. Again, thanks.

I also wondered whether the one making the film owned the collection of fake reptiles shown in several shots, as they were never explained or commented on, which led me to wonder if this was a subconscious suggestion, or whether the guy truly looks and sounds demonic when he chuckles at odd moments. I agree that the wearing of the religious-related collar was a direct mockery of religion/God. The devil truly is a silver-tongued liar, in this case.

This is what he was upset about.. not her wanting to live but her not being considerate that this is risky for him and you can't have unexpected people coming over if you are serious about this and who can potentially report him if they knew what he was there for. People are twisting so much. Very obvious that this Reverend is deluded (to put it mildly) and I am very sure, just by watching him in this Documentary, that he has actually pushed people into ending their lives when they may have otherwise still been alive today. I honestly don't see him as anything other than a serial killer and I am surprised at how the guy doing the documentary seemed to treat him as if he was some lovable figure who wasn't doing anything wrong!!! I also don't believe that the video he made was fake. I think it scared him that the psychologist realised that he gets off on what he is doing (even if not sexually, he gets a high from it) and he wanted to try and disprove that by saying the video was fake. The woman Susan should be arrested too.

@@mrs.elentz2336 he seems to pressure some people into it. The lady who wanted to eat her bagel did not want to die. She just didnt want to feel like she was feeling. I have had to be hospitalized for trying to commit suicide. I succeeded, and was clinically dead at one point but was shocked and brought back. I really felt for her. It is not exactly that you do not want to live, it is that you do not want to live feeling the way you do. I am a registered RN and mother of 8. I finally got help and feel back to what is "normal" but I really felt that this woman was bullied into committing suicide. It made me sick listening to her story of the bagel and what he called "stalling" her death.

He died in 2015 in a West Virginia hospice. Ironic that he waited to die while in hospice, rather than take his own method out.

Adrienne Wrn its not ironic, he believed in the right to die if you chose that he didnt chose it for himself but helped those who were suffering. Personally i think people are upset because his delivery is unusual ,hes an oddball but i applaud the right to die whatever their reason may be.

Adrienne Wrn I agree. Only because he preached doing it to himself.

As controversial as this may be, I fully support people who want to leave this cruel world on their own timing and free will, and I would happily do it myself when/if I am over this planet and the will to live ..... my grandmother is 83 years old, and diagnosed with full Dementia, Depression, and full-body neuralgia. She spends her days laying in bed, crying and sleeping and hating her life. Watching my grandmother existing, not living, makes me wish I could put her out her misery and when I beg my family members to get her an Ethical Euthanasia, they curse me out and black sheep me. I don't care. I believe my grandmother's best days are behind her and she's so unhappy living right now that I am sure she is willing herself to die soon. I think what this man is doing is okay and I hope it is more accepted soon.

52:30 what he says here shows that he loves it, and doesn't care if they don't want to do it anymore, and he just eggs them on to do it. Just as he says, if someone really wants to do it, they won't complain, so surely someone complaining is a sign that they are having second thoughts, and they should be evaluated... This guy has no morals.

Sounds like Pam has Fibromyalgia which I suffer from myself and through groups know of lots of others who do too. I have the constant aches pains and definitely have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I don't need it diagnosed I told the doctors at my GP practice.

Maybe he is getting people to sign over their assets or leave the will in his name.
