Dodge/Chrysler will always have my respect for the great contributions they made to the 4-door sedan segment. The Magnum/Charger/300 series were a unique niche offering that hardly any other manufacturer bothered to cover (aggressively stylish, practical and roomy, broad choice of engines/packages, and affordable!). Mopar won't be making any automotive V-8's after this December, only RAM trucks. These cars [300, Charger, Chally] will quickly become collector automobiles aka 'trailer queens'.Jay Leno has one, but because of 2415 dealers sharing 2000 cars no dealer will get more than one. Unless you have already paid cash, your preorder is not legally binding, Mopar has over 10,000 300 6.4L's preordered, but few dealers will sell you their car, especially at MSRP Sorry kids, but your preorder is probably worthless. Supposedly Jay Leno paid 200K plus one of his cars for his 300 6.4L. The rest of us will have to swap a 6.4L engine into a 5.7L 300S, which will bolt in easily. By selling your 5.7L to offset the cost of a 6.4L engine, the cost should be fairly reasonable. If only I was 30 years younger...

3:49 while you can’t technically change how the active exhaust works, it does depend on which mode the transmission is in. If you put it in “Sport” then it depends on how much throttle you give (probably where it was for this drive). If you put it in “Track” then the active exhaust is always fully open. It makes quite a difference at low RPMs.

They're not really sold out. Most dealers put their inventory on a "floorplan". This means they don't really own the car, their floorplan company owns it and it's not considered "sold" by the manufacturer. What many dealers do with these limited models is they actually buy the car, like a customer. To the manufacturer, the car is sold, so when 2k cars are gone, they're "sold out". However the car is still on the showroom floor, likely with a huge mark-up. There are 117 2023 300C's on Autotrader right now.

He was the only SRT 8 a couple of the Viper guys came up to my uncle and told him hey stay back stay out of our way will be much faster than you. I just ordered a 2024 Chrysler 300 Touring L from Central Avenue Chrysler in Yonkers, NY. Right now, I have a 2011 Chrysler 300C with the 5.7 liter Hemi V8 with the 5-speed transmission, rear wheel drive, and 20-inch wheels. I'm at almost 62,000 miles on the odometer. I'm trading in the 2011 for the new car. The 2024 has a 3.6 liter V6 with an 8-speed transmission, all-wheel drive, and 19-inch wheels. My new car is just like the one shown in your video episode in red with a black leather interior. While I have been happy with the 2011 Chrysler 300C, it does not perform at all well in the snow. That has been a real problem for me. My go-to Chrysler repairman, Clive, advised that I would have needed 4 20-inch, very aggressive snow tires to remedy the problem. But, (1) I have nowhere to store the alternatives in the off-season, (2) such snow tires are more than $500 each, (3) the tires last less than 20,000 miles. So, I just don't drive the car in the snow. Otherwise, I have been really happy with the Chrysler 300, and that's why I'm replacing my current one. Thanks for your great automobile video content.

There’s a couple popping up on lots with markup. I’ve heard a few stories where dealers were adding markups post order so customers cancelled. Fingers crossed I can get a nice used one😅

The top speed is artificially limited. I wonder if the aero is not as good as the Charger. My 06 Charger SRT8 6.1 maxxed out over 170

Why is he smiling and having so much fun? Perhaps it's the beautiful sound of that 392. Yesterday, I noticed a guy in a Tesla that wasn't smiling at all; I wouldn't either.

I would assume the 245 wide tires are there for improved epa ratings? This thing needs a 255/275 wide tire setup

Needs at least 295 for any hope at grip in the rear

He mentioned the twitchy throttle on the 300C and the Charger Scat, but the Charger R/T is also like that. I had a 2015 RT. Now I have a Scat Challenger and it is so much easier to handle tip in.

Not even gonna lie... I thought this car was already out of production. I stopped seeing them at least 2 years ago.
