Hi Eric, just for you to know I have the same boxes in the pacific. The best you can get out of them is placing the volume on 1 O'Clock 1.2-3 so before pushing up the levels on the mixer. I hope you will try it and tell me what you think. Cheers! Kelly

generally speaking R.M.S is usually 1/2 of whatever the peak is... but yes it would be nice if behringer actually stated the 500 watt RMS in their specs....

i ran them with out sub and they did great if there is a lot of deep bass it will clip faster, The speakers did get warm not hot i used them load all night at the first gig i did with them and they ran all night 5hr perfect. i don't do a lot of club music, some rap, mostly rock, country i like them.

I'm considering a pair of B212D for starters... home/personal use... I always liked 12" over 10" or 15" in car audio, I'm totally new to PA type speakers, and listen to some of everything. Any input will be great.... thanks for the video.

I'm not afraid to say it ! the other Brands I've used at my shows are EV and QSC. Well one time I was in a pinch had a 3 wedding day and needed more speakers. I borrowed a set of these behringers from a buddy that had a small band. and I got ta say I was very impressed on how much better they sounded than "the other Brands" That being said now that its getting to be spring time and the phone is going off for wedding bookings I ordered a set of these behringers. can't wait to start using them !!

I bought a pair over a year ago from the Guitar Center here in Maine. They were good until about a month ago. I was DJing a wedding and one of the speakers decided to cut out. Now, it's a continuing problem, possibly an overheating speaker. I called Guitar Center to find out if they can take a look at it and they replied that they will never deal with Behringer products again. So, I am at a loss and have to invest in something else. I should have stuck to my passive speakers.

Sorry to hear about your experience. I just looked at these at a Guitar Center in Indianapolis. I was referred to use these by several sound guys in my area and is why I went there to check them out. I only say this because I am not sure why the persons you spoke to said that to you. Hope they resolved your issue though.

Thanks. I remembered that I had bought the extra insurance from Guitar Center on the speaker and the repair company did repair it. Apparently, the speakers have been know to have oversensitive electronics and what happened in mine was an over heat sink. So, in a nutshell, they did fix it and I haven't had any issues so far. Good luck in whatever which way you go.

i don't no what the R.M.S is i tried to look it up and all i come up with is peak power on them but what i do no is that i do a lot of gigs and they rock the halls nicely and i get lots of complements on the sound that comes out of them.

I have used these speakers for the pass year for club gigs, They are good speakers , nice sound at low levels, but reliability is not the best. The speakers clip on EDM & Hip-hop music all the time, you must have a subwoofer to insure longevity. I had to start using my K12's to DJ with no issues with clipping. I wonder if the B115D's are truly 1000w speakers. To me they are best used for house parties , maybe small weddings, not venues over 100 guest. Now I just got some EV12s, much louder yet shaper sound, little higher price , very reliable, no clipping issues , bass hits with or without a sub. I have been trying to sell my B115D's FYI........

Hi, I just bought two of these speakers, but I´ve noticed a problem with the second channel of the integrated mixer on both speakers. When I connect the output of my mixer to the second channel of the integrated mixer, the output level I get is too low compared to the output level I get from the first channel. Has someone else experienced this problem?

Dear Eric,Many thanks for the review. I am planning two b115ds to couple with our mixer Behringer xenyx 1622. To the mixer, we connect two mics, two acoustic guitars and a bass. Would you suggest these speakers for a live Jazz-Rock gig in a garden of 100 square meters?

you need to hear the older 550 watt B215D's ... i've had them for about 6 years when I heard these 1000watt 115W's they pounded the hell out these so called 1000 watt speakers

Apparently the 1000 watts is not RMS its PEAK POWER. (meaning the max the unit can spike at) Not what it can comfortably play on average at.. , Id prefer too know how many watts RMS the unit can handle when being played

Buy Subs No powered Speaker puts out enough bass ever spend the money and but a sub. just one is all you need for most wedding and small party's if you play a lot of rap buy 2 subs.

there is not to much different in volume between a 1000 watt 12 inch or 1000 watt 15 inch powered speaker maybe bass or kick but load is load size if you need space then 12 less roam needed if you are tight on money buy used music go round sells good speakers cheap. i love these speakers i use them all the time for any gig big or small they rock it the Behringer Eurolive speakers are great. if you got money to burn qsc all the way ev great jbl i would go to the music store and set them up and play through them to see the one you like the best that's what i did and for what i payed i can do no better they kick ass and they do it all night long.
