‘Pour below the safety valve’. Immediately pours past the safety valve

Look again. The waterline is indeed below the safety valve. What you're looking at is a splash mark above the valve. He did it right.

Just bought one of these. Espresso blend coffee is a stronger roast. If you're in Europe and order an espresso it will be served in what would seem to an untraveled American as an absurdly small cup. And espresso cup is about 2-3 ounces. As you don't fill it all the way to the top you're only pouring out 1 - 1.5 ounces. That's why this claims to be a 6 cup pot.

"stronger roast"... oof 🤣That's not how roasting works. And you do know basically every coffee shop in America can pull an espresso shot and even serve it in an "absurdly small cup"

Very nice vid 👍🏼 at the end when it starts to gurgle, I'd just take it out of heat to stop over extraction & burnt flavour

How does a 6-cup coffer maker only make enough for 2 people?
@KID_CHAMELEON

It's 6 Espresso cups which it much smaller. The 9 cup version will make about 2 full size cups we are used to in America. Hope this helps.

Dishwasher safe? I heard you should take it off the heat as soon as the espresso starts coming out, is that right? Great vid, thanks!

I put about 9-10 ounces of water in it before brewing and I think 1 ounce = 1 shot of coffee.

Hmm... I'm not sure. Mine only sputters when it is done. Is it screwed together tightly? If anyone else watching knows, please comment below.

Probably turn down your heat. It should heat up gradually to gently push the steam up through the grounds.

No gurgle sound, have to take the top off to see if the water has stopped flowing. That doesn't seem right.

Things to know about making coffee is that a cup is not standard...in other words a cup of espresso IS NOT the same as a regular cup of coffee. E is 2 oz (4 tbsp) of espresso whereas coffee I've made is 6oz mixed w 2oz milk. A 3 cup grosche pot is 10 oz. filled with water (ALWAYS touches the bottom border of the valve) BUT NEVER halfway covers it (the valve will not work).
