Looks like a great saw. You can lubricate the blade with kerosene to help it slide through the wood better. To help, you can also fasten the free end to a bungee that helps give you a little support by taking out the wobble as you're pushing. 99% of using a one-man crosscut saw is just getting used to the movement and not fighting the blade.

Hi, I know the Great American style tooth its more suitable for dry wood. But, have you ever tried it on green hardwood?
