Feels like the golden age of vaping. I remember being so happy to get my Z-Atty Pro, but also so frustrated with how bad I was at wrapping coils. Watched this video so many times. I never got very good at it, but occasionally I'd get that perfect coil wrap. Hope all's well.

I agree 100% on the large air hole. Zen stopped making the tight draw caps for some reason, why he decided to do this is a bit of a mystery to myself and some other Zen owners I know. I was lucky and got a tight draw cap before he stopped selling them, maybe your review will convince him to start producing it again....

hi mate, yeah the Genesis style atomisers do produce a better vape than the standard atomisers, but they are not simple things to get going correctly and can require a lot of patience personally i would recommend that you stick to your current set up for a while longer before moving up to the rebuildables......the learning curve may actually put you off vaping! lol cheers scott

yea that's what we are both talking about. the air on the zatty does not come from there is comes from the small hole on the top cap near the coil rewatch the vid if you don't get it. the bottom of the zatty is sealed and the air draw is from the topcap up beside the logo

fine silver 99.9% is wrong and will give an immediate short circuit. The best wire to use is:- Kanthal A-1 32 awg resistance heating wire. Make sure its type A. I bought 200 feet (yes 200) off e-bay delivered to the UK for less than a tenner. But the listing seems to have ended now, you just have to keep scanning e-bay until you find the right stuff. My supplier was "kingorchid" however I've just seen that "pmtoolco" is selling 100 ft at a decent price. Search for pmtoolco in e-bay sellers

Kanthal d will probably be ok it has a continuous max operating temperature of 1300C whereas for Kanthal A-1 it's 1400 which will just mean it doesn't last quite as long. Some have reported that other wires can give an aftertaste but I think that's really other material types. Main thing is you got the right size and right material and if there's a problem you can always order the other stuff.

Scott, you are really good at doing this, but man you need to drill the holes larger on some of those tanks you own!! let it breathe a little! there is so much more that these tanks can do with larger breathing holes! I don't know about the provari being quaility considering PBsuardo(unsure how to spell his name) managed to break one with a single drop. Nice video man, thank you for posting this. Sad, but true - I still can't run my ZAP to feel the true power of genesis. I did all steps, following tons of video's, FAQ's and local forum advises - there is still no strong flavour, absolutely NO TH, empty vaping at all. Tried pre-installed ceramic wick, tried to make my own week (325 mesh, with oxidizing) - no effect. I believe this device rocks, but who on Earth can tell me how to run it properly?

I think the customer should be given a choice at checkout, if they want a tighter draw or airy draw cap. 2 options. why is that so hard for mod makers to figure out. I think all these mod makers need to step up their act and rev production. The Chinese are only a step behind them. Their never in stock item will become less desired when the Chinese offer the same product and unlimited supply at substantial savings. I' d make my haul while I can

Hey Scottt, which one do you think its the best deal out there for a genesis style atomiser (that looks good on a provari)? I never had one before but after your reviews I decided to give them a try. But I am not sure if its really worth it to spend so much on an atomizer when there are these cheap versions coming out and basically it will be me who makes the coil anyway
