2.5 inches lower is a lot, maybe it is so hot out that there is no cool air no matter what you do, but I cannot imagine driving with no screen at all. Good thinking on the weather stripping solution. I noticed your GPS is on a RAM mount so it probably shakes pretty good at engine idle. It took a bit of work but I managed to mount my GPS directly to the bracket. Still shakes but much less. I have an Africa Twin with 270 degree crank...same exact problem, your Triumph has same issue?

This bike is actually a BMW R1200RT, although I also own a Triumph. I don't really have a vibration problem with the GPS mount at idle or at speed. I have another video showing my homemade bracket here: kzitem.info/news/bejne/qmt-0WGCh6ippKw

Not good ad for powerbronze. When people buy this stuff they want a direct replacement .anything less is shoddy manufacturing, I had similar problem with blackbird powerbronze screen 2 holes not correct size to take factory rubber washers. Shame otherwise there not bad quality.

You're not wrong, although the inexpensive price is a consideration. I continue to use mine in the summer with my modifications and it works fine, but it should work right out of the box.
