I love this. I also find that it is sometimes the small shells that get overlooked in a collection. The lamp finial craft encourages these tiny treasures to become the feature.💗

No, it’s not, the corals can regenerate and every natural material decomposes and becomes food, a place to hide from predators,,, etc… not to be transformed into decor in a house.

Designers who create gorgeous and stylish rooms that look as if they'd evolved over 40 yrs all by themselves are always going to be my favorite category of designers. Ashley seems to be firmly in that class. Bravo, Ashley.

I so enjoy your channel. This latest book speaks to me in that she explains how her parents influenced her style. We grew up in a seaside village, my father loved the beach my mother ( with 5 children) was a DYI lady , she created a home that always fit our life style and sometimes she went outside the box based on travel. So now with my grandchildren in tow at the beach we create many wonderful projects together. I love the finials and have two lamps I love who desperately need a seashell finial. Thank you for sharing. I have used two blue and white candlesticks, put clay inside and three small American flags in a triangle formation into the clay. They go on my porch on a table on July 4th. Can’t wait to make some with scallop shells I have❤

I have a bowl full of crystals a friend gave to me. I thought about putting them all over a bust like in the Wanderlust page. I could also use candlesticks and finials to display them. I do have shells as well, from stores and from Jacksonville, Florida. None from Isle of Palm from 2017 when it was the place of a solar eclipse. I live in Georgia, and not near the ocean or Gulf anymore, so using crystals makes sense. But first I have to paint the pour paint you gave to me! I am going to do it now!
