id say the olive green one, because instead of the blue spectraflame which was like wizard of oz spraying everything with silver, the entire car is just simply spectraflame blue. the vents is just trash in color for the blue, but on the olive green the black vents are fire

I agree there. While I like the blue color itself better, the olive car has much better overall detailing for the same price. I wish HWs was more consistent with their detailing and tampos across the same model.

@@64Wheels yep. same thing with me, id wish the head lights one the elite 64 were on the chrome green mercedes. would make that rlc already way better then it used to be with just tampos as its head lights

Technically the Countach in blue was about $40 in the US, because it was about $30 for the car, then you had to pay 10 more bucks for this year's membership last year in order to even buy that car. That's because the blue one was a "Selections" car so it's made to order, and it takes that long for them to make it and ship it. And that ain't even counting shipping/tax. I already did a video on my blue one I got last week, so I'm happy. The doors close pretty good too, at least for right now lol...

The RLC fee is $10 a year, but that cost is spread out between everything you purchase during the year so it’s not equatable to add $10 to a single model unless you only buy a single RLC model a year. You only need to be an RLC member to order it during the year it’s released, no need to purchase multiple years worth of memberships to receive the cars, but it still does add some nominal cost. That’s good your car has nice doors - it seems like it really does just depend on what car you get on how good/bad it is. Overall I’ve had pretty good luck with the Coutachs though!

@@64Wheels That's true but I was just saying that they wouldn't let me buy the car without re-upping the membership too. And the fact that I was already an RLC member. They do that because like I had mentioned, the Selections cars are made-to-order so it takes about a year or almost for them to finish your cars and then ship it out to you. They did the same thing when I ordered my other Selections cars from the previous years. But I get what you're saying; I've been an RLC member off and on for about 11 years, so I'm quite familiar with the process. That was way back when the membership was even more expensive; the level you paid was based on certain colors. It was about $25 for the basic level, then it would go all the way up to $100 for the chrome level. But for $100 they did give you all of the colors of the membership car including red, blue, purple and chrome, whatever. My memory is kinda fuzzy on that one but that's basically the gist of that.

64Wheels, excellent review, I got the blue one and I'm of a mixed opinion like you. These are quite expensive also, especially for those of us in Canada, it was well over $60 with shipping and handling. My doors don't close as well too but I suppose that Mattel/Hot Wheels won't do anything about the quality considering how fast these sell out.

I would definitely rethink my purchases if I was in Canada and had to pay the higher price. $45 usd is the max I would pay new for one bc they just aren’t as well done or high quality as they once were. But like you said, if people buy them then HWs has no incentive to correct issues or make them better.

did you say $30...for a Hot Wheels car? I whine about paying $1.25 for them since the inflation over the last year.

Haha yes - this was $30, plus about $7 shipping and $1-2 tax too, so out the door they are almost $40.

@@64Wheels I've stopped collecting HW after that. The Countach is an important car for me. It was my first ever HW or die cast car passed onto me by my dad. He had an old one from the 90's. To have this happen was heartbreaking for me. Now I focus on other collector grade brands. The HW casts from the 90's to early 2000's were the golden days for the company. 100%, Legends, Classics, replicas etc. were all great series. Now it's over-produced cheap crap. Sorry for the rant.

Lol what? Suicide doors pop from the reverse of a normal door, Lambos don’t have suicide doors.
