Ooh, Awww, nice! Now you will have to paint a Silver 🦊 with your Silver brushes! However for $169 they should also make you a cup of tea...🤣 Hope you're doing well, Sunshine!☀

Haha that’s actually a great idea! A silver fox that looks a little like George Clooney is silver brushes….😂

Hi Kathleen, it depends where you are in the world! Here in Australia I brought mine from Eckersley’s and I think they are available at most good artist stores :)

I’m conflicted between this and aqua elite, on the go I would want a bit of snap to the brushes, are the black velvets very soft ?

Yes they are very soft, they are a combination of hogbristle and synthetic. It your looking for detial work I would go for a fully synthetic brush, as I'm struggling a bit with these currently (due to them being too soft).

One cannot go by the opinions of youtubers. Inexpensive is always better. For example: real squirrel hair brushes are real squirrel hair regardless as to how much one pays for it or the name printed on it. One can purchase 7 real squirrel hair travel brushes for the price of one silver black velvet or one Escada.

Hi there! well its a good thing I'm a professional artist not a professional youtuber: p While I cannot agree with you that Inexpensive is always better, there is concept of diminishing returns. Basically, the more you put in the less you get back. A brush worth twice as much as another brush isn’t necessarily twice as good (if fact it never is). The improvements or advantages of the more expensive brush could be as low as 10-20% better (just throwing out a random figure). Basically, It depends whether you think the improvement is worthwhile for you for that extra price. Someone who paints occasionally may not notice a difference (or care), BUT if you paint everyday even a 20% improvement on brush control, bristle predictability, manufacturing consistency, quality or hand fatigue is usually worth paying more for. Personally, I have hundreds of brushes (literal draws full of them) but I still tend to use these as my go too brushes. I actually may have to do a six month on review on them but hopefully this initial one gives people a bit of an idea as to whether they are worth the money for them 😊
