If you're not an art teacher, you should be. You explain things in a way that's easy and comfortable to follow along..

They are a great take- along for a trip! All you need are the markers, water brush and paper. Marty Owens listed them among his top five choices for watercolor! I have them and like them, but don’t use them often enough! Other colors can be ordered. I ordered a pink one😁 Thanks for another wonderful video.

Lol.....I always get a big kick out of the difference between putting an art utensil with either cheap or expensive materials in my hands and how I come up with the same amateur results....and then taking those same exact materials and putting them into the hands of an artist...and how within minutes (to my hours)...you artists come up with something incredible...whether you use cheap or expensive materials. In the world of art...we are definitely not created equal. So now, I will look at my markers as more than a coloring book tool. God bless you, your family, and your talent...and for sharing the gift that He gave you with the rest of us.🔨🖋✒️🖌🖍

That was very helpful. With the peony AND the calligraphy. I have yet been able to paint a good loose peony. So I’m thinking I’ll try realistic for a while. Then maybe I’ll be able to master the looser style.

Love your tutorials! You are a good teacher! Did not know that Winsor and Newton made watercolor markers. Love their watercolor paints.

Thanks you very much to teach us how to use Markers. I have few never know how to use them properly. Also are you going to teach us that how to use watercolour sticks as well? I have a pack of them sitting in the drawer quietly, so sad 😭.🌹👍

I liked your tutorial using those markers. I’ve used watercolor brush markers a lot with card making (mine are Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers by Kuatake), and the Windsor and Newton markers look like they behave similarly. I find that it’s best to work with one second at a time (put down your marker color, then immediately blend it with water) instead of putting down marker color in several sections then going back to add water. To me, watercolor markers/pens can tend to dry faster making reactivating the sections with water more challenging to get a proper blend.

The flower turned out so beautiful!!!! In love! I want to get some of these. I want to try the metallics (I have a problem with glitter ✨- I love it 🥰🤣). But as I don’t have the money yet it was really nice to see how to use them. I have some Ecolines and I never used them to watercolor. And they are the liquid Ecolines but in format of a pen. I don’t know why I never thought about it like that. I use them. But usually to do lettering. I love how juicy they are. And even if I had many of them and tried to paint this flower it would be like yours. I’m trying to learn to draw, but it’s so difficult. I won’t desist of course. But I wish I could draw this flower like that. Just beautiful 💓

I would be interested in your opinions of them... ease of use? how does it compare to jsutnusif paint and a brush? when would using these really be effective in a painting...

Diane S to be honest I think I would always paints and a brush over the markers. But that’s just my preference. I don’t think I really understand the purpose behind them?

Diane S So I think these would be great for someone wanting that watercolor effect in their artwork but who’s more comfortable and used to using pens and markers for their work. Or for a more illustrative look.

Did you use hot pressed Arches? That would damage the markers less than cold pressed and I did not hear if you said more than just “Arches.”
