Going back and watching the video I can definitely see the scratch mark damage from the coin. I suppose they give it character. War scars, if you will.

I like the wartorn look. Esp when the fretboard shows wear from years of finger grease etc lol

G'day from Australia. Nice playing! That bit around 4.20 sounds like Joe Walsh, I think it's "Wolf" from The Smoker You Drink The Player You Get. Been looking for a Cordoba myself.

I have that Walsh record somewhere around here. I believe I was playing the beginning of Preludio De Adios. Australia has one of my favorite bands- The Church! Hope you enjoy the guitar !

When I got back into guitar, I got the C5. Great guitar. I now have a C12 and am amazed at how well she plays. Btw, if a friend of mine tried to play it with a coin, that coin would be forcibly inserted into a place he wouldn't care for. Just sayin

I just got a C12 the other day and it's great. Really responsive on the bass strings. I'm totally digging it. I compared it to my C5 earlier today. Both of them sound good. The C12 sounds richer of course. I also like the elevated fingerboard. I plan on doing a comparison video soon just so I can hear the differences in tone.

Nice Video, I'm looking at the C7, maybe the C10? Might get the Cutaway Model with Electronics, my first Nylon Sting Classical Guitar.. Any thought? Thank you again and "Keep on Rocking!!! : )

My thoughts are you’ll be happy with any of them . I haven’t tried the cutaway electric C7 yet but if you get it then I recommend trying any acoustic amp from Fishman. Especially the Loudbox Artist. Let me know what you decide to go with! Edit…the difference between the C7 and the C10 is probably the bracing on the inside and the C10 might be a tad louder. I’ve owned both. C7 is the budget way to go

Edit...these are not the Aquila Zaffiro strings. These are medium tension D'addario and they are great for the money. Probably been on this guitar for a year now. Close to it.

Does it have a solid top for that price?
@joshfeatherstone8546

Yes it’s solid top. Canadian cedar. I actually sold my C7 and kept my C5. I also have a C10. The C5 is incredible for the price. Try out different strings and the sound will change. I think mine has Hard Tension D’addario Pro Arte on it right now. I’ve tried Savarez strings too and I love them on the C5.

@@joshfeatherstone8546 Thanks Josh. I'm thinking about this model. Mine has a narrow neck for a classic guitar but otherwise it's nice. If I ever graduate to tremolo I think I'd need that wider neck. Blessings to you.

@@micktulk I ordered all of my Cordobas from zzZounds and American Music Supply. They have a great return policy if you don’t like the guitar. Usually no credit check and you can put down $80 or so and they ship in like three days. Pay as you play.

The first piece was a Carcassi etude, Op. 60 No. 3 - one of my favorites for classical guitar. He also played a short snippet of Carcassi Op. 60 No.7 - also one of my favorites.
