Hmmm. The 6x6 DEFINITELY needs a bigger engine, and a forward-neutral-reverse gearbox on each side would _drastically_ improve steering. Considering that, depending on exactly what's in there, a classic VW Beetle engine is 2x-3x the HP, a better engine shouldn't be much of a challenge. The gearboxes, though... thaaat might get a bit 'interesting', although I kind of wonder, they make little planetary-gear reverse gearboxes you can add onto GY6-style Chinese scooter engines, and those use a spline-shaft on one side and a sprocket on the other... I can't tell you how much punishment they'll take, considering those engines are almost always 125cc or 150cc and thus... not exactly "all that" ;) but I _can_ tell you that they're dirt cheap gearboxes for what they do, and it'd be a great video to find out just how far you can push em.

@TotalOverkillStudios

Total Overkill Studios here, I won't be the first person to vouch for 6x6s as the one I owned had a lot of limitations, but here are some tips. 1. Biggest tires you can fit. It looks like your running 18" tires. These machines came with 21" tall tires and can be fitted with up to a 25" tall tire if you use a heat gun and warp the plastic tub a little. One of the biggest issues of AATVs (amphibious ATVs) is their low ground clearance. So you need to maximize that as much as you can, not make it less. As high centering is how these machines get stuck. 2. Tire tread and direction only matters if your swimming. If the machine isn't floating it doesn't really matter to much. Forward V tread like a tractor digs better, and self cleans faster. Backwards V facing up is better in the water when your floating. But honestly it depends more on the style of the tread, and no matter which way you had them facing on this outing would have little effect. 3. Tire pressure. How many PSI are you running? You want 3PSI as a maximum, 2-1 is preferred. At 1.5 PSI these machines don't dig holes in soft mud and sand very easily and will get stuck much less. 4. Keep your momentum up, turning gets you stuck. Since you drag and dig the machine down when you turn with a skid steer. Pick your line and go straight without letting off. If you have to turn in soft stuff, your already losing the battle. 5. You got chains popping and running up on your sprockets, that needs to be fixed so you can get your power down when under load. 6. Tuck your tires in closer, their spaced out as if to be used with tracks. The further they are away from the tub, the more axle and tub to drag and get high centered. Bonus: 6x6 / 8x8 are "ok" compared to a lot of newer SxS, but if you want them to beat everything, they need tracks. Tracked 6x6/8x8 are Sherp killers. Lastly as a critique, I'm not going to argue that the 6x6 here wasn't impressing anyone. But there was a lot of shade being thrown it's way despite never once showing video evidence of any other machines actually conquering something the 6x6 struggled at. So make sure to film the success of the other machines as a comparative to make a video look less biased.

I have an Argo 6x6 Bigfoot. Put them in the right situation they are virtually unstopable . Running in the river with a sandy bottom will probably get you stuck, especially if you start spinning. That goes for swamps also. Add a set of tracks...... and I have only used the Argo plastic tracks, you will go places quads and sxs can only wish too. I do also have a winch cause when you get them stuck in the swamp, they are really stuck. I also have the 18 Briggs in mine. Where I use mine, the guys on the quads can get pretty wet where I am always dry.
