Hi Anna! I recently got a big cut so my hair is the same length as yours now. I still want long hair but I'm happy for this change. Growing hair nice and healthy is such a fun thing to do.

Hi Anna! I am confused about 2 things after having watched your videos for a while now. 1. What's the difference between a scalp treatment and an oil based capillary schedule nutrition mask? 2. The hair growth challenges you have on your channel are for four months, so what about the 2 months between the challenge? Thank you for sharing your knowledge and being a source of motivation for all of us during our hair journeys❤️

Thank you so much! The difference between a scalp treatment and an oil based treatment is just that the scalp treatment is only applied to your roots. You can totally do both at the same time with 1 oil treatment and just apply it from roots to ends, you can use the same oils for both! Scalp treatments usually have stimulating ingredients in them as well. In between challenges I basically just keep up with my basic routine, try some things out here and there, and I'm more lenient with my routine. I'll often skip the inversion method or wear my hair in protective styles less often compared to when we are doing a growth challenge. I hope this makes sense! 🖤

Could you do an updated week-long hair routine video with multiple brands or maybe an updated list of hair masks for the capillary schedule that is not just The Hair Routine??? I would like to find another nurturing mask to rotate with The Hair Routine one.

Hi Anna! Do you ever use clarifying shampoos with sulfates? Sometimes I feel like no matter what I do, I end up having to use sulfates maybe two times a month to get rid of buildup. I’ve tried to clarify with just my every day sulfate-free shampoo, and it works to an extent, but often times my hair still feels a little _too_ soft and slightly waxy to the point that it is unable to hold a curl or wave after styling it. Do you think occasional sulfates can be good for mineral build up from water as well?
@OrganicallyAnna
2 жыл бұрын
I do use a clarifying shampoo or rinse every now and then! I don't feel like I need to use a sulfate shampoo, usually the apple cider vinegar rinse or a scalp scrub is enough for me. However, using a shampoo every now and then with sulfates in it to remove buildup is totally fine! Removing buildup from your hair is really important, so if using some sulfates every now and then works best for you then that's all good! :)

@@OrganicallyAnna thank you so much for the response! I wasn’t aware that ACV was effective for clarifying, so I’ll definitely be trying that out sometime! Do you clarify after every time you oil your scalp? I apologize for all the questions

Thank you! There are so many different ways but I like to warm it up using a double-boiler method and apply it from my roots to ends. You can also mix it with other oils to make a more customized treatment. Just don't use too much because it will be hard to wash out! You just need a thin, even layer on your hair

Hi Anna! I was wondering if you've ever noticed that after reaching a certain length, your hair starts to get unmanageable? The last time I grew it out was totally fine and healthy until it got past my butt, then suddenly it was a constantly tangled and horrible to deal with, it was so bad I ended up cutting it off. I've since regrown it but I just noticed in the past month this has started happening again and I'm not sure what to do.
@OrganicallyAnna

Hey! Yes 100%.Once my hair was approaching classic length it was driving me nuts, it was always tangled, doing anything with it took forever, and I was always wearing it in a bun or braid. When I cut it to my belly button a lot of those issues were eliminated. I love the look of super long hair but i feel like my perfect length is belly button

Your hair already so smooth and straight.. But my hair so frizzy and dry...what can i do 😫😭
@OrganicallyAnna
2 жыл бұрын
Figuring out your hair's porosity level and learning how to care for it that way is the best way to reduce frizz and boost shine. My hair is low porosity so it rarely looks frizzy, however, it has a hard time absorbing moisture so it gets dry very easily if I don't hydrate it properly
