So nice to meet your friend Betsy . I’ve missed you Maria , I hope all is well with you and your plants ❤️. This video was interesting , I just got two seed pods this month. I am excited to plant them . But my plumerias are in ceramic containers and I haven’t transplanted them in more than 3 years 😬. They’re blooming but they’re getting pretty big .

Hello Maria!! You & Bessie are the best. Enjoying your videos keeping me entertained as a novice gardener. I was lucky to obtain cuttings from my Aunt’s Frangipani tree ( Plumeria ) and they have striked successfully in pots. My only issue is you see them all around peoples yards growing huge trees 🌴 in a tropical climate. We get extremes of temperatures outer Western Sydney! Freezing 🥶 cold winter , 🔥 hot humid summers and lots of rain 🌧️ I will need to be patient til they mature and flower. Treat them as succulents?? Kind thoughts 🫶🏿✌🏼🪬

Hi Maria! Miss seeing you but at least I could hear your voice. Glad you’ve got some good help. I have 4 plumeria here in GA zone 8a, doing great & leafing out & getting buds after overwintering in the garage. This is what I do for the past 5 years. It works!❤

Hi Maria, and Betsy. I have used a soldering iron to make holes in my pots for a long time. Its great that I dont have to get my husband to make holes for me now. Now I have to say that I have not done anything with my Plumarias for years. (Havent even changed the soil) Maybe that's why they are not blooming. Glad to see yall !!!!! ♥️♥️♥️

Hello! I am new to your channel. I found you as I was looking up how to get my plumeria to branch off. I ordered this one I have online about 3 years ago and it came to me as just a thick stick looking thing. Lol. It said to plant in well drained soil and wait and about 6 weeks later it started to grow! I was super excited! Now 3 years later I got my first bloom this year which was beautiful!!! But my issue is that it is just one tall branch and very top heavy. in the middle it gets thin and then thickens up towards the top. I have read about “notching” it to get new branches towards the bottom of the trunk but am afraid to do this as I don’t want to ruin her. But if she keeps going she is going to always fall over! I have her in my home in a pot as I live in Ohio and we get very cold winters. Right now it is going dormant which she does every winter even though I have her inside. She will start to grow again around April. How do I get her stronger at the base of the trunk? Right now she is about 3 feet tall. Can I notch her at the bottom? On the older brown trunk? If so when would be best time? Spring? Now? She usually does not grow at all from November to April. Thanks in advance!! I am watching all your videos! I love u guys!!! Very informative and fun!!! I wish I lived close to come visit your shop! I am now looking at these dessert roses too!! So pretty!

Hi Maria, I need your advice please. We are in spring (here is Australia) and I have a large plumeria that is not producing the start of any leaves (or flowers) whilst others are really producing. I have tried everything to kick start it (fertilisers, compost etc) and nothing has worked. Should I cut the tips to encourage new growth?
