Since you said that if we keep asking you'll eventually do a bass collection video, here I am asking for a bass collection video. As always Nate, your videos are incredible and inspire us like no other.

Nice piece of equipment. Love your bass work! You do seem to have quite a few very beautiful basses. I'm with those asking for a collection video too. Excellent video.

On the most recent In The Pocket podcast, Chris Horrocks said you are one of the best bass players out there. Couldn’t agree more. Doubtful I’ll ever buy the gear. I tune in to hear you play and it’s always amazing. 👏🏻 🔥

It’s a shame you can’t have all channels on at the same time, like clean and vintage overdrive

@@hippoferd Do you know if this thing plays better than the new Ampeg SGT-DI?
@hippoferd
Жыл бұрын
@@bassplayer807 No idea, it seems that the SGT will be only "Ampeg" like sounds. Revolts clean channel is modeled on the SVT the others channel are not. Revolt is a very good sounding preamp, very round and smooth, it's purpose is to give a warm tube amp feel in an all analog signal path....

@@hippoferd someone said the vintage channel is based on a Marshall Super Bass for the revolt but I’m not entirely sure

There is a led that goes on as you select a channel, although you can see the filament lighting as soon as you connect the unit to the 12V adapter the tube filament is "always on"

@@hippoferd Yeah, I've got a phono pre that does the same thing. I just think it's comical when they'll light up on their own... eventually. But it also makes me question how much voltage the tube is actually getting.

I kinda don’t really want to do the 4 cable method to a head, and my EBS head does a great job at the clean anyway. What overdrive would be good for the style of tone at 1:22 and what distortion would be good for the style of tone at 1:33? Basically all I need for a pedalboard (aside from a tuner, noise gate, and compressor, haha)
