i could honestly go on a three hour rant about how bad storage heaters are. They cause so many fires, injuries, cost an absolute FORTUNE to run and I remember reading something about an old man who fell in front of his storage heater and he was literally cooked to death. As a Cumbrian it’s so lovely to hear you both love the lakes as much as we do! If you haven’t been before you should go to Grasmere for their ginger bread, The recipe dates back to the 1850s and there’s sooo much history there. And for in future, getting the train into Penrith and driving into the lakes from there is so much easier than driving from Oxenholme! Also feel like you would both love visiting Carlisle, the castle is beautiful. 😊

So weird hearing you guys talk about Cumbria and the lakes 😂 I lived in Windermere for most of my childhood and now live in Carlisle, after living down south for 10 years following uni. It’s a very different way of life up here and you definitely need a car 😅 glad you enjoyed your visit ❤️

I went to watch Longlegs to the cinema with my family and it was the first time in my life that I hated a movie, its just shitty and doesnt know what it wants to be. The only interesting thing is that they use videoflashes of snakes to induce a evolutionary survival response in your brain so you feel anxious and scared
