Le pianiste qui joue est Bernard Ringeissen qui a enregistré ces œuvres sur disque microsillon sous le label Adès, avec également un choix de mélodies finement interprétées par le baryton Jean-Christophe Benoît. ! On trouve ces mélodies sur KZitem. Ils ont reçu pour cet enregistrement un "Grand Prix National du disque lyrique". He might have been Venezuelan until his middle age, but he lived in Paris from the age of 3 and this is unmistakeably French, rather than South American, music; Chabrier meets Poulenc? Great stuff. Thanks for posting.

Not that Venezuelan. He is one of the most parisians among parisians, and he wrote french music. He was 8 when he settled down in Paris with his family...

Mais pas du tout! The quality of the recorded sound (quite modern) is absolutely incompatible with the period during which Hahn was alive and active.
