It's the third or fourth video on Sergeant Reckless that I've seen, but yours has had the most in-depth amount of pictures of her than any other of the videos. Thank you and thumbs up.

SSGT Reckless sure looks like a small Quarter Horse type to me. What an amazing horse though. That instinct to bond with their "people" is the magic of these animals. Great story.

Sergeant Reckless loved chocolate, drinking beer and was even known to have eaten $30 worth of poker chips! A nice read about her is on Wikipedia.

@Mudlark. At the time of Mongol Empire, Mongols left Mongol horses in Korea. There are Mongol horses in Korea, specially in Korean Jeju island.

There was a great deal of specialized breeding on Jeju Island. Saying that Reckless was Mongolian is akin to saying Doc Bar must have been a Mustang. FYI, Doc Bar was a racing bred Quarter Horse who became one of the more famous AQHA Stallions.

I wish people would do research before they produce these things. The horse was not a Mongolian, look them up line and you can see how ignorant a statement that is. The definitive source is Col Andrew Geer's book, free to read on archive.org, apparently the copyright expired. , He interviewed as many Marines as he could find, and went to Korea to look up and interview Reckless' original owner. His book is a very serious history of racing in the Far East under Japanese occupation in Korea.
