Size and build
First, we'll start with the build of each light. Each of the lights we're demonstrating is in the 4 foot range give or take a few inches. The nanlite and Q50 are both housed in rigged metal housings. The titan tube, however, is completely enclosed in plastic.
Each light is roughly 3 pounds in weight with the Nanlite weighing the most at 3.8 pounds.

Mounting
Built-in mounting makes mounting these lights simple. There are a total of 3 Quater Twenty mounting points on the Pavotube. On the other hand, titan tubes use less common M5 mounting points on both ends. As for the Q50, it uses a new Ossium rail system.
The Ossium rail
The included Slider and Baby Pin work in conjunction with the integrated rail to allow a variety of mounting positions. The rail is lined with multiple quater twenty mounting points making it the easiest light to mount and configure in the lineup.
Power
Only the titan tubes and the pavotube have internal batteries. While the Q50 is only powered by DC input. You can, however, power the light with an external battery.
The titan tube will last 1h 45 minutes at max brightness while the Pavotube will last almost twice as long at 2h and 13 minutes.
Contols
Each light has on-board menu controls, which are all pretty straightforward and simple to use. Each light has a power button, a value increase/decrease button, a select button, and a mode switch. Some models include specialty buttons to control specific actions, like the trigger button on the pavotube. This gives you extra flexibility when using special effects without the need of connecting to the app.
Between the Astera app and the Nanlink, the Nanlink app for pavotube has proven to be the easiest and most responsive. You can quickly connect to multiple lights and fine-tune their settings as well as access their full range of special effects.
Its also worth mentioning that each light has local and wireless DMX control capabilites.
Special FX / Lighting FX
Each light has the standard range of operating modes.
HSI Mode lets you adjust the hue, saturation, and intensity of the light. This mode allows you to create a variety of colors and looks.
There is a normal CCT Mode where you can adjust the Kelvin color temperature.
The Q50 has the smallest temperature range at 1750 to 10,000K, the titan tubes follows with a range of 1750 to 20,000K, and the pavo tube has the widest range from 2700k to 120000k.
Having this wide range allows you to match other light sources more accurately.
HSI Mode lets you adjust the hue, saturation, and intensity of the light. In this mode, you can create a multitude of different colors and looks.
The Effects Mode featured in each light, lets you create common effects such as hue loop, paparazzi, campfire and more. But the pixel-based effects expands the creative possibilities, this is where new effects like the driving effect come from.
