Here's a quick demo just to throw out an unlikely alternative for those of you looking for the highly elusive and super expensive Boss CE-1. Especially if you're on a budget! While the MXR EVH Chorus isn't a clone of the CE1, nor does it sound exactly the same, I think it makes a comparable chorus sounds to get you within range of what Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante gets from his rig. If you didn't know, this pedal is basically a Roland DC30 in a box. A DC30 is a little easier to find, but same rules apply on the cost.
This is a quick one and done demo. If you want to hear more, let me know.
This demo was made with a Fender Custom Shop '62 Strat with a set of pickups wound by Abby, 9-46 Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinky's plugged into a Marshall Silver Jubilee head and 2x12 loaded with the stock G12 16ohm Celestion Vintage speakers. Nothing special mic wise, just an iPhone 12 Pro on a tripod.
