Patients with inflammatory rheumatic disease represent a management challenge. Immunotherapy can increase risks of adverse effects, and co-morbidities including obesity, hyperlipidemia and hypertension but be managed effectively to achieve the best possible outcome. Working with primary care practitioners is an essential part of rheumatology, and this talk will focus on current immunotherapies for rheumatic disease, as well as an approach to shared care to manage co-morbidities
