Thinking of buying one for the beach, how does it hold up against wind? Are there strong hooks into the ground to stablilise it?

is it shoot-through netting for fixed blade broadheads or do you have to only shoot through specific areas?

question. Why don't they make a blind that actually is the same color of the vegetation you are putting it. All blinds I have had don't blend into the surroundings AT ALL.

Does it hold heat real well is what im trying to figure out, or do all those little holes allow the heat to escape.

I've only used it during turkey season. However, there were a couple of exceptionally cold mornings. Hard to give a completely accurate answer since I haven't used it much for cold season deer hunting yet but I'd venture to guess it lets out more heat than a normal blind.

Does it let the wind blow through more than a regular blind? Cold windy days are the only thing I'm skeptical about when it comes to this blind. Great video!

That is a great way to describe it. it's definitely a little darker during those first/last few minutes of legal time where it's not quite light but you can still see. But I usually have the windows open some to look out of.

I’ve never hunted out of a hub style blind, does it make your shooting window feel small or like you have a shooting blind spot? Also, how big would you say the opening is with the window all the way open?
@MahoneyOutdoors
2 жыл бұрын
You have easily 12-15 inches to shoot out of with the windows all the way open. I don't feel uncomfortable shooting a bow out of it at all.

I am considering one, but looking out form inside reminds me of a regular blind with the netting you can shoot through, looking through that gives me a headache, especially when trying to focus on something long distance in the woods...given the much larger area it might not be too bad...what do you think?
@MahoneyOutdoors
3 жыл бұрын
That's a great question. Honestly I sat in it a lot this past season and I didn't have that issue. I kept the front window open to look out of and shoot out of the whole time but when animals came in I just sunk back into my chair to stay out of sight completely. Then it was nice I could still keep an eye on the turkeys and deer without being seen at all. But we tested it afterwards and it turns out it doesn't really matter because even at 5 to 10 yards with the window open my dad couldn't see me inside at all since it was completely blacked out. All comes down to personal preference of course but I think you will enjoy it.

@@MahoneyOutdoors appreciate the response, that is a good idea to shrink down out of the window and you can still see them and pop up for a shot when they aren't looking...I might give it a try, good luck this year...thanks for the video.
