don't forget ctrl+shift locks you to an ortho view, and ctrl+shift again breaks you back out into a 3d perspective view! super fast and easy-

Hello Phil, Can we model complex A class surface in rhino 6 for Car designing, If yes then plz make a video of it. I simply don't want to shift to alias for this work. i am more comfortable with Rhino.

Hi vinay, If by ‘Class A’ you mean curvature continuous matched Bezier patches (or single span surfaces) then the answer is yes but the workflow is different in Rhino to Alias. Alias maybe has more options for controlling number of spans, degree etc than Rhino does. In practice in automotive design you do not need Class A surfaces for conceptual work but certainly will do for creating final surfacing.

Phil, let's have a video on car designing in rhino by you... We can learn the system in depth from that. Rhino 6 has better options to handle the curves. May be we can learn something new and detailed.

I would model this in another method using 3 profiles and one curve to sweap would that be better ? I think so

Hi, Foued, the video is just showing a simple example of the new v6 features and of course there are many valid ways of making similar geometry.
