Such great times in 1985, Ric Flair and his Horsemen, Magnum T.A., Dusty Rhodes, The Freebirds, Ivan and Nikita Koloff(With Krusher Kruschev) as “The World 6 Man Tag Team Champions”, and let’s not forget Jim Cornette’s Midnight Express along with the The Rock and Roll Express. Back at a time in Los Angeles when I would be watching all of this Every Saturday Afternoon at 3 P.M. on Superstation WTBS - Atlanta as World Championship Wrestling. How I would love to turn the clock back again.

I remember him saying many times that his suits were custom made,and he wore alligator shoes,a rolex,and so on...Back during the 80's I used to think he was making that all up,but later on i realized Flair really did live his gimmick outside of the ring.

If I remember correctly, this was right before their cage match - in which once again, The Koloffs beat him up and once again Dusty Rhodes showed up, but so did The Andersons, and they beat the shit out of Dusty and were hated from that day on

@@benjones9849 Basically he turned face for a while that summer to fight Nikita at the Bash, just to make the turn on Dusty more powerful and meaningful once it happened during the cage match. The short face turn was a strategy to boost tickets sales for the Bash and then Starrcade after the heel turn.

The whole breaking Dusty's ankle in the omni cage with the Andersons almost causing a riot (after Ivan & Nikita beat and blooded flair) was one of the best angles of the decade! Flair got over the top heat on him for that angle & it marked the genesis of the Four horsemen era.
