This is so wholesome. Ric expressing regret for he and Bret badmouthing each other and admitting his fault for not paying attention to Bret's work in the past is sad to see, because you can tell he genuinely regrets that it happened for so long. Always seemed to me that Bret wanted the respect of Flair, but Flair wasn't ready to give it. Even Hart constantly referring to Flair as the man and the greatest ever.. but in return Flair would burn him and say he never drew, etc.. probably influenced by his close friendships with HBK, HHH ad Hoga.. which in turn then fuelled Hart's criticisms of Flair being repetitive etc. So to see them leaving all the other crap behind them and appreciating each others careers and legacies in the business nowadays, is just wholesome as hell. Undisputedly, two of the all time GREATEST workers EVER.

Bret Hart vs Bull Dog Summer-slam top 3 matches of all time. If you want to see a professional wrestling clinic watch that match. It doesn’t have a bunch of high spots in it as they do today it was a wrestling match and they tore they house down. My personal favorite match of all time. Bulldog was very underrated as a wrestler. He could wrestle any style match you needed. He was short changed a lot of ways because of his opponents.
@patrickdurham7984

That's a testament to how good Bret Hart is because Bulldog was so inebriated in that match that Bret had to carry him the whole time. why would Bret be pissed at Ric, he's the one who put him over to finally become the WWF Champion
@1Leggo9my9Eggo2

Because Ric openly criticised Brett first and said he wasn’t a draw, even though at that time, Brett called ric the man and one of the greatest. Ric probably had some bitterness towards putting Brett over and didn’t think he was worthy, and come to find out he was more than worthy and overall a better performer than Ric was. Two of the GOATs for sure, but Brett was better, Ric just had more longevity.

I remember when Flair first arrived to the WWF as it was called at the time and I was so excited for this arrival because I knew he could have great matches with at least 20 wrestlers there at the time. I waited for champion vs champion for 10 years. Flair could have matches with Hogan, Savage, Hart, Vicious, Undertaker, Bulldog, DiBiase, Warrior, Piper just to name a few. Ric Flair did wrestle many of them but not all of them. Some of the matches were not great caliber matches just matches that you would see on TV and no title on the line. That to me was a missed opportunity to have and see the caliber of matches and variety of matches and storytelling that could of been done. Like heel vs heel ........or triple threat matches .......I don't know the politics behind the stage but more matches should of showcased Flair and his NWA style with the WWF Style giving the fans more excitement to tune in. The matches were hyped up enough but were bland in comparison to what Flair did in the NWA. Flair blended in easily and wrestled as he always does .......showing he is the best but some of the matches seemed bland in comparison to what could of been done to show variety of styles. Nevertheless Flair didn't disappoint , I guess it was just behind the stage decisions and politics which you can never blame the wrestler for. Glad Flair went and showed what he could do with the big stars of the WWF. Flair gaining the WWF championship belt there was a huge accomplishment showcasing that he indeed can play with the big boys club. A true world champion in any promotion, glad he got rid of old grudges with some of the older WWE wrestlers cause you don't want to die bitter you want to die remembering the great athletic career you accomplished against top level opponents. Flair will always be one if not the best to me.
