Ric and Greg were a fantastic tag team. My favorite matches in the mid 70s were them against Ole & Gene.

Much Respect for Greg Valentine. Hes tougher than a Two Dollar Steak and famously worked stiff because his work looking believable was what was important to him.

Greg Valentine earned every dollar & penny he ever made & seems to be one of the most caring individuals I hated him when I was a kid back in the late 70s early 80s I gotta say Mr Valentine you were extremely good at what you did for a living Nature boy Mr Valentine once said it was going to be you Ole- Arn & himself but they couldn't work the deal out Tully was masterful in the group what do you think could or might have been if Mr Greg Valentine would have been a member of the Four Horseman You Mr Flair in my opinion are the greatest to step through the ropes Thanks for all the years you left everything you had in the ring & getting a 10 or 12 year old watching channel 8 out of High Point North Carolina Mid Atlantic Wrestling adrenaline flowing by your mic work

Ric wrestled the best there was around and during a great era! When you hear from Steve Austin that Ric Flair is the GOAT, or anybody saying how great he was, don’t look at him in the WWE in the 2000s please, look at Ric Flair I’m his NWA days when he first won the title and and when he was in a lot of dudes with the greats. That’s when you’ll realize why a great like Steve Austin (who got to work with Ric in the WCW) you’ll realize why HE will say Flair is the GOAT! His match in the 70s and 80s will make the old graphics look like it’s 2021 because he put on 60 minute clinics and it’s not a myth my friends, he really was the the great!

Thats the problem! Guys too damn young that didnt get to see this man work the mic, promos, tv, talk shows, and the ring wayyyy before the internet days and guess what? He still nailed it and brought it in $$$$$$$. He was in pheonomenal shape cardio wise and wrestled many times per week for decades man. Wrestlers today arent nearly as good and they think Ill just hit the juice and pack on a ton of muscle and thatll make up for any discrepancies in their abilities. False!

No disrespect but Ric Flair went on to have a much bigger career than Greg Valentine. Greg Valentine's best days were behind him by 1987 while Ric Flair won his last world title in like 1999.

I love The Hammer and he seems so earnest. I mean, just like all of us he can be full of crap but who cares if it makes for a great story. Like so many heels when their NOT between the ropes they are the nicest guys in the world. The nicest people in the world can be arseholes from time to time but I figure that almost every night for anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour, heels to act like real shit heads so they get it out of their systems. My big takeaway from this is I never remember anyone, before this, refer to Greg as 'Stiff as Stan Hansen'. I just assumed, being so well trained, that he threw powder puffs. I love to learn a few new things every day just to keep from getting too jaded.
