Best Star Trek. Best villain. Mostly because of the charisma the actors brought.

Look at that suit and tie. Over forty years later and if you were wearing it you would still be stylish and the best dressed man in the room. He was a movie star in every way. None of the male stars today have that sort of class.

Montalban could read from a phonebook and sound compelling. In what must be an extreme rarity in Hollywood, he was married to the same woman for 63 years. What an artist and gentleman.

Yes, I got to stay up a little late to watch the first run episodes with my father and older brother. My younger brother was born partway through the original series. He later became a fan while watching the reruns. The Khan episode was one of the best episodes in the original series.😊

What a wonderful interview! Bobbie asks great questions. Ricardo is all class. He also understand the importance of escapism in the movies. So many movies bring todays problems and issues into the story. Most of us are going to get out of that world. It is wonderful to see this man after his greatest performance, being his usual, humble self.

The “drip”, the “rizz” on Montalban…wow. such effortless, panty-dropping charisma, yet faithfully married to his wife for over 50 years. To the young men watching this, this gentleman, and not clowns like Andrew Tate is what you should be emulating. An absolute LEGEND.

Actor Richardo Montaban!…..that dude definitely had it going on throughout his career, not only as an actor but as an individual persona’s character and personality and charisma. After I saw the second Star Trek movie The Wrath of Khan I had to go back and see the original episode from the original Star Trek series because I was so intrigued by his character that he played/presented. Also that dude kept himself in the best physical shape throughout his life….because it is even evident from just watching the movie as well as far back as the episode from Stark Trek that the movie is based on. Yeah….I also think that woman was ready to drop her panties for him after that interview! 😂

Before my dad showed us kids "Wrath of Khan" for the first time, he told us about the singular episode Khan appeared in in the original series, and how he thought it was absolutely brilliant that they brought Khan back for the movie. And no wonder!!!! I have yet to see the episode of the show, but I gather that episode's end was left wide open for a possible return of Khan. The stars aligned, and Ricardo Montalban is now a legend, and unforgettable.

I remember watching him on Fantasy Island....he could seem kind and sinister at the same time...he gave dimensions to that charactor as he did as Khan, so you could like and admire him while also seeing him as villainous as well... Very much a Class Act and obviously a believer from his comments here.

The way he played Khan and More importantly the way he played Mr. Roarke made him perfect to play Vincent Hanna in the movie Heat across from Robert DeNiro. Al Pacino did a fabulous job. But, Ricardo would have played it equally well; but, it would have played in a nearly Polar opposite way.

Mr. Montalban, a practicing Catholic, even gets a little bit philosophical in this segment. He is uncomfortable with abortion and instead believes the growing population of Earth signals that God intends for man to populate the universe. I would have loved to explore that topic further with Mr. Montalban.

BTS footage not originally seen before. This is how they would reconfigure the questions to make the answers sound more relevant to the questions being asked. Also they would tailor the reactions of the interviewer. With these situations, it really isn’t an issue because it is just an entertainment segment, but when you’re dealing with real life issues it becomes inauthentic and unethical. Watch the movie Broadcast News with William Hurt. The ending reveals a situation when scripting things is wrong.
