This is why if I was rich, I would never keep all the money to myself. Instead, I would split it in half. I would keep half of the money and give the other half to someone else, so that we'll do so well financially and we will succeed in life. We would do many good things, and get the help in times of trouble. Think positive! That's what I would do if I was rich. I'd choose to be generous, not selfish. :3 And if anybody objects my decision, I'd reply, "It's okay!"

Yeah, it's too late for the selfish son to change his mind. He signed the contract to keep all the money. He should have thought it through and agreed to splitting half the money and sharing it with his brother before signing the contract, but instead he was reasoning to keep all the money; he didn't know what would happen next. But now it's too late to split it. He will regret his decision forevermore. It's sad, but true.

This one hits home a bit. 30 yrs ago my in-laws passed. They had a paid off house, and a bank acct. The money in the bank was equal to the value of the house. My sis in law wanted the cash, no question. My wife was very happy to have the house. 30 yrs later the cash is long gone, things like expensive cars, Rolex watches, $75K weddings. We still live in the house, and the value of the house has increased almost 10 fold.
