I can't stop listening to this story. I've heard it at least 3 times. My life is the opposite. Yet my suffering was just as great. A horrible home with total security and comfort can be just as bad, if not worse, than violence and disruption. Here I am, 61, just realizing my entire life was a waste. Picking up the pieces. Hearing John speak is therapy. I just wish I could have expressed myself like he was able. I just stuffed it. I don't know how I survived.
