this guy made such a damned impact on me back in the 90s in a very trying time for me.... very! Such a pity he seems to be only really known in the UK, this guy is absolutely and unreservedly right in the top echelons of musical talent. Right at the top. It's unfathomable that he isn't much better known. Totally bizarre.

Having just watched the first episode of ITV’s new drama ‘Ridley’, I revisited this sublime timeless classic by Richard Hawley - in Ridley, Actor Adrian Dunbar makes a very decent fist of this song to end the show.🥇🎶
