"Part of that journey is an ever deeper admission of what you are". That is just stunningly beautiful. Thank you Richard, thank you Erik.

I first encountered "On having no head" from a library in 1994. Or thereabouts. The first line shattered my world.

Love the format of 4 questions Erik and appreciate Richard’s very relatable and down to earth manner in which he talks about our true nature and who we all are at centre 💫 Who’d have thought that being The One could be so humbling 🙏

To me, this realization was very profound. I want to share it. It might be my approach, but I try to bring friends and family to this realization by asking them to participate in exercises like Richard demonstrates. Unfortunately, they don't get it. Some of them are the type to be open to it. No luck yet. Maybe there's something very special about Richard that allows him to get the point across.

Their mental filters are very thick. Once enough filters/ assumptions are seen clearly THE HEADLESS WAY is revealed

The neo-advaita path is, I find, very dead and lacking in love and life. Douglas brought compassion and loving kindness into the experience. The third person as well as the first person.

That’s how it appears from someone else’s point of view, or from the distance of a mirror or camera. But from the first person perspective, you see everything that there is around you, but you can never see your head because everything in your visual field is where you think your head is. What you think is your body is really just part of the visual field. As with all mystic traditions, either get it or you don’t. And that’s fine. 🤷♂️

Humans are naturally ok with not seeing their appearance.
