Yes, yes there is. If you don't train to flop press it is a very easy way to hurt yourself, you don't just transition to it out of the blue. I doubt that richard has the hand flexibility to flop press without injuring his wrist. (with the Edit the origional poster made to his post my reply now has no context.)
