Absolutely amazing to see him on your podcast, as someone mentioned about Gary Daniels already i would also love to see Hwang Jang Lee, Yasuaki Krata and some others who are not as famous like these stars globally but they were fantastic in the old school Kungfu action movies. Such as Tino Wong, Yao Lin Chen , Chiu Chi Lin, Hwang In Sik, John Liu Chung etc. Some of them can speak a little bit English as well.

Great interview! It’s very nice to see a more complete picture of the man. No mention of the sword of bushido though?! Arguably his best movie!!!

Fantastic podcast. I've been following Richard Norton for years. When I was 17 I started Zen Do Kai in Perth, Western Australia under Kyoshi Sean Allen. Best decision I could've ever made. I'm now an aspiring screenwriter. I've been working on an Australian Action script for the last five years. I had to learn everything from scratch as I couldn't write hardly at all when I first began, but writing has become a big part of my life too. I hope that I can send a logline or screenplay to Richard one day.

I can see why you thought Kickfighter was Australian, as a lot of the cast are Australian. I thought the same. I always remember it as the film where Richard played his own character as a 9 year old in a flashback. Hilarious!

Bit cheesy at times, watch talking over the guest and let them finish. Richard was somewhat nonplussed after you quoting his movie lines. The guy is almost unrecognisable from back in the day. Great interview.
