I was the court reporter taking these proceedings down. If you listen, you will hear me writing on my steno machine - you'll hear the little clicks as they are speaking. I have all the transcripts of The Iceman proceedings. Years ago I sent the transcripts with my sons to school - they were taking criminal justice classes - and they never realized how cool their mom was back on the day until they read the transcripts!! Incredible memories.

That is a memorable experience. Unless you created a LinkedIn account as a back story, you are the only person who I believe in these comments, who say they knew or had a dealing with him. I have been following him since his arrest. I've extensively researched him and I agree with FBI Agents Mcgarrity and Smith, NYPD Detectives McCabe and Pergola and NJ Special Agent Prolifone, that while a murderer, Kuklinski was lying about being a contract killer and working for the mafia. From what I have read it appears Law enforcement knew early on that Kuklinski was making stuff up. Detective McCabe NYPD has stated he had to go to NJ every couple of months and interview him about his latest claim which he easily debunked time and again. Did you get any sense of this while working there?

Don. And Lee Montoya. Well you both are correct. He did lie about all of The hits he made for The Mob. I saw Two or maybe Three different interviews of The Ice Man. Well he was so full of cacatti you could see his Eyes turning Brown. He claimed that he did hits for Carlo Gambino and Paul Castellano. Then he claimed to be one of The backup shooters in The Castellano hit. He also did say that he was Friends with Angelo Bruno back in The old Days and he did one hit for John Gotti. And their is something that I forgot to mention. He said he also worked with The Two N.Y.P.D. Mafia Cops. He said he was a stand by shooter in The Eddie Lino hit. And another good one. He claimed to be Friend with The late Phil Testa from Philadelphia. And to top it all off, he also claimed that he knew Albert Anastasia and Carmine Galante. And everything he said in that interview was just a bunch of Cacatti. He was just looking to be noticed. Well take care both of yourselves and God Bless.

@@Pitera2140. I thank you for your reply. And what you wrote is The Gospel truth. And hats off. I have seen some interviews with The real but for Mobsters and they said The same thing. He mentioned that he was a frequent Guest at The old Gemini Lounge in Brooklyn. Well that also turned out to be a lie. And Roy Demeo and also Nino Gaggi did not even know him and he had never been to The Gemini Lounge. And he goes on to say that he was Friends with Sonny Black. Oh what a good one. And another good one. He was a backup shooter in The Carmine Galante hit back in 79 in Brooklyn. I can not understand how someone wants to be noticed so much he's going to lie about everything. Not only myself, but I am sure not a single one of these People I mentioned did not in any way know him Personally nor ever talked with him. And that includes The Two N.Y.P.D. Mafia Cops. And you probably already know who I am referring to. He just wanted his notoriety and some attention. Well he got it and now most likely he is reaping what he sowed. @@connormurphy7684. Ciau Signore Connor. Well you are absolutely correct all The way. That interview I did not see, but someone who did see it told me that now this Ice Man Person is claiming he killed Jimmy Hoffa. Well I know it's not funny, but I had to laugh several times to keep from passing out. Then another Grand Classic. He claimed that he was part of The Hit Team that killed Antonio Capanigro back April of 80 up in The Bronx. Now here is another good one. He claimed that he was with Louis Eppolito and Steve Caracappa ( The Two Mafia Cops ) when they murdered Israel Greenwald back in February of 86. And another really good one. He even went as far as saying he knew Anthony Casso. In reality he just really wanted a lot of attention. I am surprised that he did not go on and lie about being involved in other Mob Hits. You read the part about the cave rats, right? Can you see this huge man trudging throgh waist deep snow, carrying a tied up victim over one shoulder and bulky camera equipment in the other hand. Its togh just to walk through deep snow without carrying anything, and I'm sure the victim isn't making it easy by staying still. He leaves his car on the side of the road, where a police officer could very likely see it along with the footprints heading out in the snow, and investigate. This 'pro hitman' leaves the victim alive, relying solely on these rats to eat him before he can escape and run to police. Thats when I remember putting the book down.
