Richie always comes across as such a nice guy, very down to earth and respectful of the Priest (and KK's) heritage.

I've seen the rundown when it went online originally, bought his signature Flying-V the next day and did not regret that decision in the slightest. One hell of a guitar at a damn good price point. Absolutely love it. It's the only guitar I own that came with stock strap locks - and the only guitar I ever had to keep from crashing to the ground headstock first because the only flaw Epiphone's QA has overlooked is that the strap lock buttons were sitting too loose and came undone easily... But fortunately my reflexes are OK and it could easily be fixed with a dowel and wood glue...

Richie's a world-class talent, and a super nice guy to boot. His success is well-deserved.

though I would prefer Priest to have stayed original, this guy has done a stellar job taking over. I've seen them a few times with Ritchie and he delivers every time. as a guitar player I would say everyone should have at least one V.

They remind me less of Gibson/Epiphone models than the ESP Kirk Hammett version I saw advertised in the mid-to-late 90s.

Of all things during this final month of 2021, I found myself laying down the smackers for a pre-owned Epiphone Flying V. It makes sense now because of how you abecause of how you are likely to get better quality is better quality from a pre owned Epiphone then a pre owned Gibson that will still set you back a whole lot more, and it isn't as easy to detect which is which from a distance. The one I chose was from a Canadian exclusive subseries called the Negative series. Because of the white finish and black pickguard, even though I am dubbing this one Edgar, it's my temptation to call it Diet Coke.

With the specs in the Epiphone it would cost a fortune from Gibson, over 4k I reckon

Epiphone Explorers and Flying V's look identical to the Gibson originals, owing to the Gibson non-standard headstocks...It's a sort of insider "secret" in getting a V or Explorer for under 2K, and sometimes the Epi Vs and Explorers are extremely difficult to get if they're a limited run...

I’m not. The best Flying V I’ve heard and played in the last while was the Epiphone Hinds signature V. Show me a Gibson that has what that Epiphone has to offer under 4K?

bcrich581 i heard more and more good things about epiphones nowadays, surprisingly gibson is the other way around. I heard that new gibsons aren’t as good as the old gibsons. Maybe richie felt the same way

One of a million players out there. Their problem is they have no clue what guitar playing is or isn't. Do you know how to play less with more talent because this is not music at all. It is just a mass of confused notes with zero feel whatsoever. Do you actually get paid??? May I suggest you listen to your interviewer and YOU take some notes, as he is a great player with great feel and simplicity. It's so easy to play a mass of shit, so sit down, shut up, and listen. You're welcome...
