"Goodbye Moonmen" is a David Bowie tribute spoof by Jemaine Clement who's one half of "Flight of the Conchords" Which is also a TV show based on the band but Jemaine's probably best known as Vlad the Poker in "What We Do In The Shadows" film.

Loved this episode. Roy is a wild concept for a game lol. But it is interesting how Morty is forced to constantly grow up and learn past his ideals as he spends more and more time with Rick.

It’s probably inspired by something like Star Trek TNG episode called the Inner Light. Picard gets zapped by a satellite and while in a coma for 25 minutes, lives an entire life of some dude till he dies of old age and wakes up to real life again.

I found out that in this episode, when Rick and Morty drop Jerry off at that daycare, the Rick and Morty we next see are a different set of Rick and Morty (they are not ours). Our Rick and Morty are the set that appear at the end that ask the versions of them that we were following in this episode if the Jerry they had was theirs or not. I am actually not sure if we follow our Jerry, I would have said yes, but there is a future episode that suggest that may not be the case (of course that doesn't say whether the Jerry that our Rick and Morty took at the end was theirs or not). Either way, we followed a different Rick and Morty throughout this episode (except the versions of them that appeared in the beginning and dropped Jerry off), and we may or may not have our Jerry.

Add Flight of the Conchords to your list of shows. It’s short and season 1 is much better than 2. But worth it if you liked this song.

So if Morty runs into Rick and he is chained up saying help me I'm in pain, he should ignore him cuz he is evil. This show has a little too much other world beings to be so human egocentric. Saying Rick is always right? That sounds like a very far stretch of logic. Rick is the one with the power, and he is a selfish aHole so he makes most things be right for him. The simulation one where he is abducted he got to be right, but even there at the end he was still threatening Morty at knife point in the middle of the night. To me, Rick causes most problems and him being right is just fixing his mistakes. Even here, he is selling weapons to an assassin. No matter how you slice it that is not a good thing.
