This is America, to be honest. My parents lived there when I was about 10 years old, and, I kid you not, the teachers were writing "a lot" as one word. I begged and cried to come back. The teachers were horrid to me because they kept trying to force me to pledge allegiance to a flag that was not mine. I was also in a grade 5 class in Canada, and they placed me in a grade 7 class in the USA. The horror!

Lucien Bouchard was a minister in Brian Mulroney's cabinet. The series was brilliant, and no doubt edited to pick out those overconfident Americans who couldn't say "I don't know" ! My favourite was when Rick got individuals on a university campus to sign a petition asking the Canadian government to stop putting their senior citizens out on ice flows.

I am sure there are many funny Americans. What i was impressed with was during 911 when Gander and many other Eastern provinces took in so many Americans, the Americans and other nationalities were so thankful we never heard anything negative about the passengers.

He could get a lot of ideas and amo to laugh at in Canada as well. Our politicians are a joke and give comedians so much to joke about if they weren't afraid of being sued with all the wokeness. Our education system in Canada, especially Ontario has gone down hill and Rick could trick a lot of Canadians about Canada and the USA. Wish he would come out of retirement or find someone equally as funny.

The guy is asking them questions that they just think are real questions. That professor probably doesn't go around saying that the Canadians perform Saskatchewan seal hunts but if someone says they are he'll say that that is bad. Same with that politician, he doesn't know what the other guy's talking about. He probably thinks the "national igloo" is some sort of tourist attraction he's never heard of. Seriously they're manipulating these people to make Americans look bad. and I'm a Canadian.

Most Americans know as much about Canada as straight men know about applying make up. Its sad because the US is only interested in what goes on within its own borders. By the way I'm American and I love visiting Canada several times a year so I certainly don't mean any offense to Canadians when I say that.

You're right, Canada may be seen as quiet, but that doesn't mean its forgotten. It's seen as a friendly and peaceful as opposed to loud and obnoxious that gets in the way of everyone else . I've seen that anime Hetalia before, and I assure you, it's not accurate. For something that depicted the US independence war from Britain as a separation between Father and son (I kid you not, it was an emotional scene of the anime), I think I would rather take my chances with the history books.

Only because Canada is a small nation. Compare such rates per-capita to California or New York state, i.e. where all the Universities are that Foreigners go to. I'm pretty sure most foreigners intend to study in the United States, I know its a fact in Britain, and I'm sure its the same in Asia. Especially if its a tech degree.
