Thanks for mentioning Kenny Stabler, Rick. My alltime favorite quarterback.

It’s going to be hard for Michigan to contain how quick and accurately that QB from Washington can pass the ball. Thanks Coach for the great convo as always on the Dan Patrick Show! 💯🏈

Rick Neuheisel's 2000 UW team beat Purdue (Drew Brees) in the Rose Bowl and finished with a #3 ranking.

He’s an incredible coach, person and also a very sharp guy. He came to my elementary school to give a speech for my neighbor who had leukemia. He was very nice to all of us. Will always love Rick.

That catch JJ McCarthy made on the throwback to him was the best catch made by anyone the entire college football season. That's shocking athleticism from a QB

It was so incredible to watch, especially in the moment! However long his career, that pass in that game, will always be on his highlight tape. 🙌🏼

Part of the reason Michigan clamped down on Bama's explosion is based on the below averageness of Milroe's throwing ability. His pass throwing skill level is low, so it made it easier for the Wolverine's Defense to game plan against them... When they go up against Washington that won't be the case. Penix will carve up Michigan's Defense systematically for a bunch of passing yards

His brother might get his 2nd Super Bowl ring this season. That might be all the motivation to leave his alma mater he needs, sibling rivalry.

These players that opt out of playing games are nothing more than quitters in my mind. You bailed on your team. As an employer I would never hire someone like that. If they quit once, they will damn sure do it again. No place in my company for folk like that.

Didnt we had many many fine examples of players that got hurt in this bowl games and their draft stock got destroyed. Soo you think its fair for their future to lose good money contract just to play in some meaningless bowl game?

Of course Rick will say Washington. He's a former Washington coach. Just say "My heart is with Washington, but if Michigan does what it did to Alabama they will win."
