This was a great interview, as were the ones with Westwood and Fleetwood. I’m sure there are plenty more pros that you’d like to get in this format, but please consider getting a few or the better known caddies, Steve Williams, Bones, etc. to get a caddie perspective on pro golf. I’ll bet those guys have some unbelievable stories to share.

Great interview, Adam’s golf swing is pure silk, without his putting issues he should have won more majors as his game suits pretty much any course, (although playing in the Tiger Era probably didn’t help either).. 👍👍

Scotts greatest achievement in life is not his stellar golfing career over 22 years, and all he's achieved professionally in golf. His greatest achievement and what makes him a champion is WHO he is as a human being. Success and greatness come in many forms. Adam is an example of that. He's a credit to his parents. And a credit to himself. If I'm his parents, I'm proud of WHO he is rather than what he's achieved professionally. Well done, Rick. Brillant interview on your podcast.

As you mentioned your not investigative journalists, and the videos are so much better for it. The best interviewer was Parkinson and he would do his homework but his aim was to have a conversation with his guest and a relaxed guest is one who will speak openly and honestly and you never know what will be revealed. Adam came across as such a rounded person (as do many golfers I've seen interviewed) I hope he has a great week, and nice to see how he looks at the likes of Tigers performances in his prime and just how awesome he was. Sat watching the open from the first tee shot until I start work at 8:45 as you say being the winner of the 150th Open, that is going to be so historic for someone and it would be great if Rory or Adam could do it.

Whilst I'd love an Aussie (I am one) to win it, I honestly think that (whilst we do have Links Courses here) our game isn't properly suited to playing them... I'm thinking Louis Oousthaizen, Xander Schauffele or (for purely nostalgic reasons) Lee Westwood.

Easy to say this with hindsight but Smith was made for the place with what he had done on and around the greens at Kapalua and Augusta. I'm sure when I looked at the 2015 result there was about 7 Aussies in the top 30 or 40 too. Must be something about St. Andrews lol. Min Woo Lee and Herbert have wins here too so they will be interesting to watch in future. Lucas is becoming a bit of a wind specialist.

Hi Rick, loved the interview with Adam. Adam Scott is hands down my favorite player of all time. He exemplifies the game of golf being a gentlemen's game. Even though Adam's been one of the top players in the world for the past 20 years, he's always kept his head on straight and remained humble. Adam's always had the perfect balance of being competitive and approachable, and is the true definition of a role model. The three players I'd have in my foursome would be Jack, Adam & most recently Matthew Fitzpatrick. I hope that Fitzpatrick continues to have much success and remains a good down to earth guy just like Adam. Cheers mate!!!

His description of his Royal Lytham experience is honestly what champions are made of. It must have felt horrendous after that Open experience. To appreciate how close he was, focus on how well he had played and actually draw confidence and belief from the experience is amazing psychology. As an Australian who loves golf, watching him win the Masters is everything to me. I had tears ears in my eyes watching re-run highlights on an international flight once lol (even when I knew the outcome). Bloody love Adam Scott. Aussie aussie aussie OI OI OI
