My younger sister had chronic, severe asthma. It was before inhalers or any kind. We nearly lost her a few times to a severe bout. She was taken into a home for lung affected - tb, asthma, etc for a period of 6 months. Each day their beds were wheeled outside as the facility was right on the edge of the sea. Unless it was raining they stayed out there for a few hours each day, no matter how hot or cold. Her lungs improved dramatically. Eventually she was able to have inhalers, which also took some of the fear away. In time she became completely in control of her asthma. So much so in fact that the local pulmonary clinic will advise patients on her methods and means of having a very normal life. We recently celebrated her 70th birthday and she spends a lot of time on the beach with her grandsons.

It's been standard practice in the USA for 100 years to iodize table salt. The need for iodine, supplementary iodine if it's inadequate in the diet, is not discussed much because it's taken for granted. Some people get the idea that either salt is bad for them, or salt with supplementary iodine is bad for them, which may be true for a small fraction of people, so they skip it, when for the vast majority we could just buy a cardboard jar of iodized salt for about a dollar every year and be good.

I bought one at a local shop, but when I went back to buy one for my mom they were out and I ended up buying it online and there are several places to purchase it. It's a little ceramic pot with a curved tip. The cylinder ceramic pot holds salt and the base is full of small holes so when you suck a breath in through it it's pulling microscopic particles of salt into your lungs and Airways to help dry it out. I don't get sick real often, but I have found that that definitely helps me get better quickly when I do.

As a school nurse I frequently have students gargle warm salt water. It is very effective. They asked how it works and I tell them have you ever seen salt poured on a slug? It shrivels up and dies. That’s what it’s doing to the mucus in your throat if it is a virus or bacteria.

I've had a Himalayan pink sea salt lamp for a couple three years now, and I can tell you it really DOES work. I have COPD and there has been a significant difference between when the lamp's working and when it's not. The bulb burned out the other night and it took a couple of days for the new one to get here. I was coughing TWICE as much till the replacement arrived than I do when the lamp's working.

I HAVE heard that some less reputable sources are selling plastic fakes, so make sure you're getting it from a trustworthy source. And while I haven't had this problem, they say that they draw condensation out of the air if it's humid. So it's best to sit it in a dish or something at first just in case. But mine has stayed dry as a bone for YEARS so..... But I figure it's better to have something under it at first just to be safe. Good luck, I hope this info helps.😉

I watched Dr Berg’s other older video about salt. Afterward I went on Amazon and purchased a salt inhaler. It cost somewhere around $12 and came with a packet of Himalayan sea salt. Instructions have you breathe in through the mouth and exhale through the nose. I found that if sinuses are your problem spot, then hold one nostril shut and breath in through the other with the nozzle up to your nose, switch back and fourth. It really opened up my head!

I'm a severe asthmatic ( my lungs collapsed when I was a teen) and as a child the doctors always told my mum to sit me in a steamy bathroom to help with my asthma , but I hated it because it always felt like it made my asthma worse, I felt like I was suffocating. Similarly, every time I went to my grandparents house which was around half an hour from the ocean, I couldn't breathe properly, I got asthma every time and if we went to the beach I felt the same as I did in a steamy bathroom. As an adult I moved inland to a small town that was a very hot, dry place and for the first time in my life, I barely used my ventolin puffer and even had some expire which shocked me! A few years ago I had to move back near the coast, the first couple of years were bareable, I had more asthma than id had in 10yrs in the dry climate but it wasn't terrible, last couple of years its become really bad again. I just wonder why the dry seems to be so much better for me when every other asthmatic I talk to gets relief from sea air etc? And what can I do about it when moving back inland is not an option? If anyone has any answers that would be great! And If you got this far down, thanks for reading lol

A week before thanksgiving I started coming down with something that progressed into pneumonia which I've had twice before. I went completely carnivore, to eliminate all inflammatory foods then started the neti pot three times a day. I love that thing, it helps so much. I remembered buying a nebulizer when all the covid crap started and did a saline solution with that once and was drastically on the mend. I remembered hearing about people sitting their kids by the sea when they were sick with chest problems. I also upped my electrolytes with salt. I'm still weak, but have slept so well and the mucus was cut in half for sure. One thing that also really helped was taking a super hot bath and staying under for at least a half hour. It raised my body temp to above 100. I takes weeks to get rid of, but after one I already feel so much better. Everyone kept saying I should go to the, that is the worst place to be. At home I can sleep uninterrupted and have baths etc when needed. Would love a video on what you think about homeopathic remedies, I've used them with great success for over ten years. Used some this time too.

When I was young and stayed home with an annoying cough, one thing my mom did was, we would lick our palm and she would sprinkle salt on it and we would little by little, slowly lick the salt off our palm. It would stop the cough and help our sore throat.
