Only time I was ever on that stretch of road was a Saturday in July back in 2016. In a car headed to Bryson City to ride the train. We stopped at Looking Glass Falls, and it was crowded with swimmers. Just standing and watching the falls was great, though. Very peaceful, in spite of the noisy swimmers. Thanks for posting, RSMF.

Another wonderful scenic ride, with two of my favourite Biker Chums! The ride reminds me of my Royal Forest Of Dean (Gloucestershire) local trips, some 20 miles South from me! 40MPH max sounds good when there are Deer, etc, around, ready to leap across the road! Many thanks again for the location shout-outs! I am following you closely on my Google Street Maps!...Take care, both!....😊...😊...!

What a beautiful ride you and NC Stoney were on, thank you so much for sharing and your commentary!! I have heard many stories about the Dragon and would like to try it some day but believe I will ride the Blue Ridge Parkway first. Yes 30 to 40 mph looks plenty fast on those roads with all the traffic and shade. When you upgrade to LED's I too would be curious what you go with as we have the same bike. Thanks Again and Keep on Riding Safely!

GA Ramblin Man yeah, from lake lure to deals, I see tags from everywhere and I tell them , we'll all I had to do was get up and I'm here. Enjoy. Next time up run all of 28, from below highlands to deals it's a great run. Just remember, in the hills never shoot the apex. People have a tendency to cross over the line.

Sherry Setliff thanks for the suggestion. I’ll definitely ride that road soon. I always try to pay attention in those areas always looking out for the cars crossing the centerline. They seem to be looking at the scenery more than the road. I have to be careful not to do that myself on my motorcycle. Thanks for the info on Hwy 28 from Highlands to Deals.

I have yet to figure out how to get any GPS to keep me on the route I've picked or spec-ed out...This is why I don't have one on my bike, in the rare occasion when I have to find some place I'll use my phone GPS. I'm 100% for LED's they light better, are seen better, last longer and draw much less power. Beautiful ride Doug...US276 looks like a nice relaxing bender

Great video man. I normally use my miata for “tearing up the twisties” and I never understood why people didn’t like roads like the dragon. But recently I got the opportunity to take a Yamaha stratoliner for a spin and it’s a HEAVY bike. After that I would agree that the dragon would not be a very enjoyable ride on a cruiser, especially a heavy touring cruiser. Anyone 276 looks like a nice ride. I’ll have to go for a drive on it
