I think it's amazing that it even runs with a 16 gauge cord. Most compressors, even the sub-4 cfm ones, won't even START on a 14 gauge cord. I'm looking for a compressor to run on an inverter, and I'm sold!

Agreed, I've had some portable compressors that tripped the circuit breaker on thinner cords or even 12 gauge that were 50' long. This one is so far a winner for me. Thanks for the comment!

Fried chicken? The rooster would be in the frying pan! LOL! That compressor sounds louder that 77 decibels!

That bearing squeak (you can hear it when it powers off) would have me nervous.

Ya, thankfully I'll use it enough so it'll either wear in or break before the warranty expires!

Undoubtedly, there are better compressors out there. But for how quickly this one recovers and the fact I can carry it around with one hand, I like it.

This is 5 cfm i believe, recovery time should be adequate

Dont need a bigger tank as long as the compressor puts out more cfm than the tool needs....you'll never run out of air no matter the tank size.
