I've won the £195m euromillions jackpot the other week. If I save up a bit more I may be able to buy one 😉

The strut slayer is a single function tool. Definitely has a place in the industry due to speed, accuracy and lack of noise and dust/swarf. For a metal muncher doing strut all day it is well worth the investment (about £2K plus VAT). Think no more hot works permits, cutting stations and lets not forget the new demon on the block Zinc Whiskers. Top tip. After cutting spray some Galv spray in the lid on on some cardboard and then dip the cut ends into it rather than spay the cut end. It leaves a neater finish.

The strut cutter really is only useful if you only cut a lot of strut. The bandsaw is hands down better because you can cut anything with it. Thoughts from a industrial electrician!

Awesome tool but I'd still go with the Milwaukee since I also need to cut pipe and threaded rod.

An evolution metal saw would probably be as quick but if you think the band saw is noisy....

How about a handheld metal cutting circular saw?! Great for unistrut, tray, rod, pretty much any metal! A bit more multi purpose than the Rigid and definitely faster than that cumbersome bandsaw and when paired up with a roofers square will be more accurate too! And cheaper than both!

It’s the dust which is the issue on lots of sites they make you use cutting stations with dust extraction
