A friend of mine recently took this train and was impressed. I just wish that this sort of service expanded to more regions of the country, like the northeast or California. I'm sure that eventually it will. In the US many people think of trains as an afterthought but in most of the rest of the world they're a major way of getting from place to place, with multiple runs per day on most routes. Thanks for this!

They're building a Brightline West from Rancho Cucamonga (just west of LA) to Vegas right now. I'm excited for it because I can walk the mile to the metrolink station and be in Vegas in about three hours. Faster than flying with the reduced check ins.

I guess we can call it almost a bullet train. 125 MPH is quite a bit slower than other high speed rail systems. The Acela train that runs between New York and Washington DC travel at up to 150 mph and it’s been running for almost 1/4 century (24 years) Bullet trains in other countries have exceeded 375 mph. Also a true bullet train doesn’t have RR crossings that allow cars to cross the tracks. The biggest problem is the cost. I can book a one way flight from MIA to Orlando for only $54.

Sorry to be the negative Nancy, but this is false advertising this train. This is NOT a bullet train. Please read the requirements of what a bullet train is so we don't confuse people and tell them something that it is not. This is a fast train to Orlando. And yes it's nice and it gives people a taste of what the rest of the world is used to, but at very slow speeds. Let me give you an example. Driving from Fort Lauderdale airport to Orlando Int'l airport is about +/- 211 miles. In a car, on a good day and without stopping for rest or gas, it takes about 3 hours, +/- a couple of minutes. If you were a real bullet train, the trip from Fort Lauderdale station to the Orlando airport station would take you about an hour and 10 minutes. Right now this train takes 3 hours to cover this route, so NO this is NOT a bullet train. There is no intent here to be malicious or take away from your great videos or wonderful personality. I just wanted you to know the difference. If you ever want to ride a bullet train, you will have to wait for the one currently under construction in California, or you will have to travel abroad to any of the European countries that have the train or of course, there is always Japan.

Decent WiFi, single seats facing towards towards direction of travel. No trolley service (standard class). On another topic, the constant use of the train horn is due to Americans not being able to use 'Level Crossings' properly. See KZitem videos providing evidence. As you already know, this product has been provided 'Virgin' due to Amtraks incompetence. There are comments below that the train only travels at 125mph . This is a speed restriction rather than a performance issue as the Seimans train sets can reach up to 200 mph depending on the model.
