I know I said no African stuff, but they did have something worth fanning...
Turns out Johannesburg has this pretty neat commuter rail system called Gautrain that opened in 2010, yes when the football thingy was happening. The system connects the city with the outskirts of Pretoria and Hatfield and O.R. Tambo International Airport.
The trains used in the system are British made Class 301 Electrostars which are part of the Electrostar family. Since this system is considered a high speed railway it does not have the traditional Electrostar front end, they made the front more aerodynamic. The propulsion has also been modified so the trains can climb the complicated grades the area has.
Also uh if you plan on fanning here, do not stay in the same place for an extended period of time or they will fine you 💀
Anyway, thanks for watching and don't forget to like and subscribe to my channel you can also follow me on Instagram at @london_eevee_tokyo, thanks for watching and see you back in New York!
